I think the issue some people are having is that from Chelsea's point of view, goal difference is more of a factor now than if they'd picked up a point today.

That said why anybody would think that's a reason to give up on the title is beyond me.

Then he was claiming that Sunderlands penalty wasn't the biggest gift this side of Christmas and that Mourinho's out of order for giving one of his arsey press conferences thanking Mike Dean and Mike Riley for their contribution to this seasons title race.
