Good post

no.

reason??

we didnt need an improvment on savic , we needed an immediate improvment on lescott (thiago silva)

tevez isnt a world class striker , he hardly score

garcia and rodwell are average players , we were needing a world class deep lyng playmaker , they are not

sinclair = AJ

maicon is the only one true improvment if he'll can stay fit

Sorry mate but by saying then Tevez can hardly score shows you havent got a clue about City and probably football for that matter. Nastasic will be direct competiton for Lescott and will take his place in the not too distant future. the days of us spending mega money on players is long gone so for the money we spent the players we brought in are of a good quality.

A lot of people on here seem to be blaming the summer transfer window as an excuse for our poor form which is strange as we have a stronger squad now than we did last season IMO.
Nastasic is an improvement on Savic
Tevez is a world class striker and he has returned
Garcia and Rodwell are better options than De Jong and Pizzaro
Sinclair may be a slight downgrade on AJ but not by far IMO
Maicon is also a good experienced addition to the squad.

So I dont get how people can say we had a poor summer. Yes we could of done with signing the players at an earlier date but the fact is apart from Barry we could still field our strongest 11 from last season this season. Also the point people make about wanting RVP, Hazard and DDR and getting downgrades instead is irrelevant as their was no way on earth we was ever going to sign all three of them and our squad is still stronger now than it was last season. We are just having a blip in form at the moment and I have no doubt in my mind that the players we signed will end up having a positive impact on the team.
nastasic may be an improvement on savic, we dont know yet
sinclair is not as good as johnson
maicon is not as good as richards
garcia, time will tell, rodwell should not be playing for us , average is the word.It seems both put together can`t do De jongs job.
We took notice of ffp rules & royaly fucked up, we are weaker than last year not stronger. A pathetic transfer window.

Surely, it's not just about getting bodies in by the end of the window, but also about them having enough time to work together which they really didn't have for various reasons?

I mentioned that in my post and it make the point that some people are writing the players off already as ridiculous.

I agree with most of that, but Sinclair is not as good as Johnson and Maicon (now) is not as good as Micah. The manager wanted to kick on not stand still, because standing still whilst others are improving is effectively going backwards. I'm 100% behind Mancini on this.

I agree with everything you have said except I definitely think that Rodwell is NOT a better option than De Jong.

Nastasic looks very good so far, impressive in the Madrid game for someone so young, not sure if Maicon was really necessary considering we have two class right backs already who are not going anywhere.

Haha! He's scored 60 goals in 103 games for us!

I've still not forgiven him for all the bullshit he's put us through (I'd like a full season of what he's shown so far this season before I can forgive him) but I still think the guy is a very good player.

this season tevez so far has played 648 mins scoring 4 goals = hardly scoring

nastasic I HOPE WITH ALL MY HEART will definitely replace lescott as soon as the next game , i'm worried becouse mancini doesnt played him vs arsenal. maybe he really still is too young and not the finished product we absolutely needed.

if (and i hope not) the days of us spending big money are finished we will be the next blackburn rovers

We didn't take FFPR too seriously. We did try sign players, they just didn't want to come. Paris and London on the same money or a home town club who he supports and plays for we're all bigger pulls than a small city in the North of England with no guaranteed starting position.
