To be fair, you are on a City forum so you will get a 'City perspective'.

You have to admit there are a lot of mard arses who watch Arsenal. Even Arsenal fans I know agree.

I think that's true of all clubs, unless you are suggesting there is an egregious exception when it comes to Arsenal and its fans.

Arsenal fans are in a league of their own when it comes to hypocrisy. "Money can't buy class" It can however buy a shit load of decent players and give out lucrative contracts to the good ones already on your books to stop them leaving for other clubs. Ask Tony Adams.

With all due respect, that response is a non sequitur.

Dont know if it came across on TV, but I was there and I thought it was stupid of Theo to do what he did, he basically incited a riot, many pockets of spurs fans came racing down the stand to get to him, stewards and police got in the way and one poor female officer got sparked out by a spurs fan who punched her straight in the face. It was not nice to see, and made the police life difficult having to put down pockets of violence with the spurs fans deciding to turn thuggish. At least they showed a lot more fight than their team. If Theo gets banned I wouldnt be against it. He needs to understand there are a lot of idiots who go to games and someone could get hurt because of what he did.

Fans need to man up, they can't give out abuse and then whine when they get a bit of banter back.
I didn't agree with Wilshere's ban(even though he is a snidey little ****) and I don't agree that Walcott should be punished.

I think the responsibility is on the players , fans will never man up, they are a reflection of society , you cant expect them to set the moral standard, players on the other hand should know better. Their job is to play football and decent behaviour should come with the job.

I agree with most of this except the Wilshere ban. Swearing on TV at that time is not really something the FA can let happen. Giving stick to fans though is fine.

Arsenal fans loving the fact that Walcott gave the Spurs fans some back, yet they cried like bitches when Ade gave it them at ours.

If there's a more hypocritical bunch of mard arses outside of the swamp, I've yet to see them.

You know, the thing about fans forums is the unremitting certainty of its home supporters to believe they are endowed with some kind of moral superiority so they can see the mote in the eye of others but fail to see the beam in their own.

In other words, it's only too easy to fail to see one's own faults except when reflected in others.

I never ever fucking tire of that gif.

Priceless.

Re: The Tottenham Thread 13/14 part 3.

The game was over , it was a cheap way for theo to score points with us the home fans. Sure most lapped it up, you can become a cult hero with actions like these, I prefer the cazorla/rosicky way. Beat them and shake their hands after. Or dribble past their entire team and score then give them the look like henry...what theo did was descend to the fans banter/abuse level, poor form by him, totally needless. I was seeing these signs in the stands, didn't expect it from a player on a stretcher. Still the fans' reaction was so over the top it makes you wonder if people have got their priorities right in the world.

really don't get why you and other fans can't see some very obvious differences between what ade did and what theo did?

for a start, theo isn't a ex spurs player rubbing it in their face like ade did.

secondly, ade running the length of the pitch to celebrate and taunt arsenal fans is slightly different to walcott just signalling the score whilst on a stretcher, and whilst happening to be at the away end anyway.

2 totally different actions.

Re: The Tottenham Thread 13/14 part 3.

Whichever spurs fan jawed a lady copper or not should get chinned for it.
Despicable shitbag.

As stony says fans should man up but as awayday says the hard facts are they won't.
Call the players all the names you like if they incite like that but ffs.

I wonder how long before the knives are out for Sherwood

TBF he was missing a lot of midfield options today. He couldn't have done much more.
