Problem with Newcastle is like us vs Everton away where it's like their cup final. They know they have a good record vs Chelsea with mourinho so they're up for it like they were last year and the year before.

Wouldn't be surprised if they crumbled next week

if we hopefully win in germany midweek - today's result will hopefully dissipate and we can kick on.

Also , i would rather be happy playing newcastle in whatever mood they maybe ...than chelsea closing the gap to 5 points coz let's face it chelsea are the real rivals.the rags and arsenal would not be in the long run. ( hopefully not jinxing it !)

Still think Chelsea will be our closest challengers at the end of the season so this result is more important than the rags winning imo.

I'll judge the rags in November after thos fixtures. Other than Liverpool the rags haven't played anybody and Liverpool ain't all that.
