Great result for Everton this. Typical that Lukaku hits form just as we're about to play them in their cup final next week (i still don't get why they hate us so much, the Lescott thing surely isn't enough?)

Southampton will be fine this season but they won't be as close to the top 6 as they were last year, they've stabilised as a decent mid-table team that's capable of putting in the odd great performances and causing an upset. Similar to Swansea.

Have to disagree Southampton have been absolutely dire.

Very impressive Everton performance. Barkley dominated and was very impressive along with Lukaku and Stones at the back. The Southampton manager did not give Everton enough respect by playing essentially four strikers from the start handicapping the midfield in the process, which allowed Barkley to dominate. Southampton were poor.
