BBC calls it right:

£88m. That is roughly what it cost Manchester United to bring Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie to the club. They come away with just one shot on target for that investment.

For all the talk of the need to rebuild, there are a lot of expensive raw materials going to waste in this United side.
Strange because united don't normally spend money. They nurture the youth players like Phil jones or janazai.

From BBC Sport. Finally, some parts of the media are beginning to criticise their spending as well.

It's becoming to obvious

Bob's ravings aside, you still denying Liverpool as title contenders then are you?

Only if they win every game, for me, drop 3 points and I don't think 86 would be enough.

Manure mugged off, 300k a week for that shite LOL

Get Van Rapist on the same for another 5 years.

don't know why your laughing, that was a bad result for city,i cant understand people hateing them more than they love city
How is that the conclusion you have come to? If we do our own business then we win the league, the Chelsea result has given us a free hit against Liverpool and we still win the league.

The demise of United is just the sugar on top.

A team that has already lost at home to WBA, Swansea, Spurs, Newcastle and Everton. Surely no city fan expected them to beat Liverpool today

Can anyone take a snap shot of Liverpool taking a corner in the 82nd minute?
There was a women sticking 2 fingers up. Pretty sure she was the ''lady in red'' from the last match Sunderland game....

I thought the very same, the silly cow probably stuck two fingers up because she can’t spell three!! Bad result for us though.

Reporter: Other than three points, what's at stake today?
Tim Sherwood: Three points.

I am yeah, firmly between Chelsea and ourselves, with us as favourites?

Yourself?

Doesn't matter. Happily have him play against us. He's crap, as will be whoever replaces him
