This weekends other Prem Games

Re: This weekends other Prem Games

That was some truly shite refereeing in the Liverpool v West Ham game.

Firstly the West Ham goal shouldn't have stood, and then the 2nd penalty was never a penalty.

My issue with the referee isn't so much with the West Ham goal but with the Liverpool penalty. Don't get me wrong, the West Ham goal was absolutely awful officiating, it was clearly a foul and should have been a freekick. However, ultimately, it was a refereeing mistake. Mistakes happen, and football teams appreciate, and accept, that at times the officials will make mistakes which hurt them. The Liverpool penalty however wasn't a mistake, it was a predetermined action by the referee. He'd clearly been made aware, and maybe even seen, just how bad the decision was for the West Ham goal, and he came out in the second half determined to "right a wrong" and give Liverpool something. The first chance he had to even it up, he took it. It wasn't a foul, the referees position at the time was such that he had absolutely no way of seeing what had happened, so he gave it to Liverpool because he knew he'd made a mistake and cost them a goal earlier. That's not a mistake, that's cheating. Pure and simple. Teams don't accept, and shouldn't have to accept, that referees will actively seek to cheat them. It was hugely unfortunate for Liverpool that they'd suffered from a bad decision, but guess what, they had and the referee should have just accepted he'd fucked up and made the decision to officiate the rest of the game to the best of his ability. He didn't, he cheated. Unacceptable.

Two contrasting games.

The Everton Arsenal game was magnificent. The West Ham Liverpool game was awful enlivened only by the officiating and Suarez's penalty claims

If Everton play like that then that looks a very tough fixture for us. I don't know why more teams have not adopted West Ham's approach against Liverpool, get men behind the ball and break on them. It totally nullified Liverpool. Great result for them.

Was enjoying the West Ham game up to the second penalty, thought it was a decent game.

Arsenal were terrible yet again, they seem to lose their bottle when they come up against teams who are close to them in the league (away from home) they dicked Everton in the FA cup at the Emirates and drew with them in the league, as good as Everton were, Arsenal were worse

West ham are absolute dog shite, no wonder their fans booed them off because they haven't played anything you could call football for 70 minutes now

F*ck off !

Constant slagging off at a team that's only in there 2nd season in the prem, limited budget and Liverpool wouldn't have scored today if it wasn't for penalty's one of which wasn't. The morons that booed the team off against Hull were a minority and they haven't got a clue. Mid table despite having our best players injured all season and being ''absolute dog shit''
