Why can't we play like this away from home? We have a better squad of players than Newcastle, don't we? And we have a better manager. Don't we?

Yes, Newcastle were immense at White Hart Lane a few weeks back...

About as immense as we were at the Hawthorns, actually.

No...they put in one of the worst away performances of the season. West Brom didn't venture out of their own half against us, they've been wide open in this one.

Same could be said of Spurs when we played them. See what I mean? Back to the original point though; have you seen any away performance in the league since Christmas that has got you genuinely excited? Somewhere we've had a real go at the opposition, like Newcastle have done (so far) today, notwithstanding the goal they've let in while I was typing this.

even with that tactic if you dont shoot you wont score i used to watch them training quite alot playing on half size pitches very small nets so many touches before scoring all gets transfer into the real game sooner or later thats why we try to walk the ball in imho

Hate to say it, but don't teams park the bus when they're playing the vermin? Yet they have a better away record than us. With nowhere near the quality of squad that we have,

And i was talking about comparing performances earlier in the season (which are gone, and not much point harping back to them) with the way we have been performing on our travels recently. Perhaps I didn't make that clear in my earlier posts. If that is the case I aplogise. Still doesn't alter the fact that we don't go out and impose ourselves on the opposition enough.

The scum adopt totally different styles of play to us which is more adapted to breaking teams down..they have had years of experience at this we have had 6 months... The last 2 Newcastle attacks were against 3 defenders..all in the last ten mins..

Then shouldn't we be a bit more flexible when it comes to tactics, according to the opposition? Or is Bob a ''Plan A'' manager/coach, with no alternative plan?
