Look RVP is straight up better than any of your players, but there is no way to keep Tevez, Aguero and RVP happy. The only way RVP would be brought in was if Tevez went.

That said as good as RVP is still not the right signing for them. Every team United have played has been able to get at them in midfield and therefore have a decent shot of winning. Would have been better spending the money on a world class midifielder. They are better than last year, but so are you and you remain firm favourites.

No he is not better. It is simply because he is THE ONLY FOCUS he scores so much. If we played with Tevez only, Aguero only or Balo or Dzeko only as our MAIN focus they would bag plenty. But we play as a team meaning any one can score. Fuck the wankest over Van Persie great player but I would not swap what we have for him.

It is not just a matter of goals, he is class all round. Sets up goals, opens space for others (teams cannot let him shoot so must close him down), usually fantastic at dead balls. Good range of passing. Has the vision to spot passes. Scores vital goals when the team needs it. Just a fantastic footballer.

I give you Toure probably second best player in the league. Tevez, Aguero and Silva up there in the top 5 as well. Though, I don't think Tevez fits your system as well.

Well thank fuck you're not our manager.

Yaya Toure is better than RvP. As a footballer, person and has the credentials to back it up. Everything you describe RvP as (passing, dead ball, creating space) we have in a holding fucking midfielder.

van persie is a quality player who scored 3 goals aided by woeful defending i dont see what everyone is getting arsey about, we cant sign every good striker in the world just so they cant play for anyone else

as we are talking nonsense can someone please compare a left back to a right winger as well, i think clichy is better than valencia by the way

I don't think United were "lucky" as such, they were just fortunate enough that Adkins was completely dense with his substitutions today. As soon as he took Puncheon and Lambert out of the action it gave Ferdinand and Vidic a license to roam and heavily influence both of United's late goals.

Puncheon had Evra on the back foot every time he moved with the ball. Carrick and Cleverley gave him a lot of space to roam and allowed Lallana to get into some fantastic positions that could have hurt United much more if Lallana had put his shooting boots on this morning.

United were incredibly sloppy today. Everything Carrick hit in the second half missed its target and until Scholes came on he was completely exposed. As soon as Scholes came on United were much more adventurous and Valencia was used a lot more. Southampton basically shit themselves, lost composure and paid for it.

But United are papering over cracks that will be ripped apart by City, Arsenal, Chelsea (just like they were against Everton) and other teams that have players good enough to do so. Southampton would have won the game comfortably if Lambert hadn't been taken off.

Southampton will have to learn or else it'll be a cold Christmas of wallowing at the bottom of the table for them.

Calm down. Tevez is a world class player. They don't just grow on trees and they are going to be brilliant at whatever club they play for, especially a top club. The point is take Tevez out and stick RVP in and I believe the team will play better.

You can stick Iniesta in the United team and he does not suit their current crossing style of football, but he is going to be world class.

He has a point. We were all lauding the Aguero/Dzeko partnership at the beginning of last season because when everything clicks, it's an incredibly well balanced team. Tevez came back and helped out when we were going through a rough patch because he's a warrior, and he's doing it when we're sub-par again now. But in the perfect 'Mancini' system, I'm not so sure Tevez belongs in there either. Though this is coming from someone who doesn't believe Tevez and Aguero is our best partnership, so you can ignore the above if that's how you feel.
