This Weeks Other FA Cup Games.

I could not care less that Manure won. What makes my blood boil is the inconsistency between referees. Yes there was contact but also massive simulation after the contact. With Navas and Aguero both fouls were more obvious penalties but not given. Until we have video assistance I will believe our beloved game is corrupt.

The thing that worries me though is who will be in charge of that video footage? Is it something that the referee in charge of the game will see for himself alongside the 4th official (so he'll have to go off the pitch), will the 4th official judge it and feed into the ref's ear their decision? Or will it go to a retired ref to look at the footage and feed the info?

I only ask those questions as even with video replays ex referee Howard Webb has managed to make the wrong decision for both the Navas and Aguero pen decisions (stating that contact can be made in the area and it can not be a pen). To then stating that awful decision today was a foul as "contact was made".

I'm not disagreeing with you as I've always been for the use of video replays (and still am on the whole). I'm just unsure as to what will happen in terms of how they apply it as if they give it to the so called ex refs to help the same shit decisions will still get made.

I don't see how they can give it to ex refs as they're not pgmol. It would have to be the 4th ref.

hahaa...I see the manyoo sneaked it with a penalty after only having 2 attempts on goal all game. They are getting pelters from all angles in terms of the display they had:

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes is in scathing mood, telling BT Sport he "would be sat with my head between my hands after that performance."
He adds: "I've tried so hard to defend this team, but each week it gets harder. Every time I come to Old Trafford it's negative football.
"I would be depressed if I had been a part of that performance from Manchester United.
"The players are bored, fans are bored, everyone's bored. You look across at the bench and Van Gaal looks bored as well."

fans reaction:
Matt in Surrey: In all honesty I couldn't care less if we were battling for the league or advancing in Europe as I take no pleasure in watching my Manchester United play. Complete and utter boredom on the pitch sours any success. I'm not asking to win with overwhelming style but just with a flirtation of a smile

all from the BBC website....long may it continue

This is actually a very good point seeing as that Bournemouth player hasn't had his red card at Leicester rescinded despite him actually getting the ball. And they had a whole week to review the pictures not a few seconds with the pressure of the home crowd putting pressure on them.

They were more obvious but that was a penalty. The fact he throws himself to the ground makes it look an iffy decision but it looked a penalty to me.

Good result really. LVG is safe and Rooney will keep starting

It's never a good result when those fucking vermin win. It's especially galling when it's in injury time as well. Cunts. Every last one of the rag bastards is a fucking ****.
