This Weeks other PL Fixtures Week 6

The non transfer of De Gea could be the biggest event of the Summer as he has saved United today, as he often did last year.

I said immediately it could be problem but people had it easier to have fun ad think he wouldn't play. It was shit thing to happen.

Yes Sterling has been a fucking good player for City.

And other than the goals Martial has done next to fuck all, so now I know you are talking bollocks. Depay had a better game than Martial if you discount the goals. He did fuck all else.

His reputation is based purely on the finishing, nobe of which would have been goals v our opposition. If he fucked about on the ball v Juve like he did v Southampton, for the first goal, they would put him in row z. The second goal.the keeper dived the wrong way. Same finish as Sterling but easier.

If he scores 20 goals then compare him to Aguero. Sterling is not a cf.

I agree with this. Think to many people over hyping Martial ok he's score 3 goals 2 decent 1s but other than that he's done absolutely nothing. He's a young kid full of confidence we'll see what he's like when his confidence goes low. We bought Sterling to give us pace and width can't understand why he's being compared to Martial anyway?

"None of them would have been goals vs our opposition". I'll leave it at that because that's an argument I'd expect a 6 year old to present.

If this happened and if that happened. If yer aunt had balls she'd be your uncle. If Jamie pollock could tackle, head, mark and position himself well he'd have been a top top player. If, if, if.

Martial's had a great start. I hope it doesn't last but he looks like a player. Sterling has yet to impress.

Your last sentence is a load of bpllocks and can only have been written by somebody whose not watched any of our games live.
Yet to impress? Fuckinell.

It's true. We haven't benefitted from defending or a lino like that. Surely you have watched how teams have defended v us & seen the difference ? You think Sterling would be allowed to turn inside by West Ham, like Depay was ?

None of those moves would have had an effect in any of the City games so far. Against Juve U19s perhaps but not v the seniors. And the finish for the 2nd goal was the exact same finish Sterling has had saved & been criticised for giving the keeper a chance & not lifting it.

Aye, yet to impress. Although in different positions and not comparable as players KDB managed to impress more yesterday than Sterling has in any game yet.

You can not compare what any of them done and say it's the exact same. There's so many factors which differentiate. The pace of which they struck the ball being one, the way they shaped their bodies to make the keepers make a decision is another, the timing of when they actually released the ball and hit the shot compared to the keeper's positioning is another. Need I go on? You can not say they done the exact same thing because even if they did the circumstances were undoubtedly different.

Its hard fact to swollow that United bought better striker than Bony and possibly more important player than Sterling

After 2 games LOL

I remember a certain Patrick Berger scoring 5 in 4 games for the Dippers, he turned out World Class didn't he....

More important to them, sure. Because they had no decent strikers. We bought Sterling even though we were already reasonably strong in his position, and then brought someone even better to compliment him. So yeah, he's more important to them than Sterling is to us, and that's a good thing.

As for Bony, his goalscoring hasn't been good enough since he joined us, but he's had quite a lot of games where he's played very well and contributed to wins without scoring. But again, we're talking about a player that's not even in our first team most of the time. I'm glad we're going through a period where their best striker is being compared to our backup striker.

But yeah, give him a few games. The real test of a striker comes when opponents have had a chance to analyse your game. To claim he's better than someone with the goalscoring record of Bony after two games is ridiculous.
