Those of us who thought Arsenal couldn't be caught, when did you start to believe again?

When we beat them, up until then i thought we were the more likely to drop points, it just seemed every time we had a good result we got complaisant the game after, the other side of that was i kept waiting for the FA to manipulate results as well, i think they might have been too busy with utd and liverpool.

I never buy in to the January champions, February champions etc narrative. We’ve turned it around a few times as have other clubs previously. Add to that Arsenal are famous for a Devon Loch, not that 8 points is anything like a Devon Loch. Press are experts at building this sort of narrative. They’re so good at it even I get convinced England are on the verge of winning an international tournament. They are very predictable. This is the period when they’ve already handed us the treble whilst belittling it. After the weekend it’ll be how Ten Hag and the players are prepared to spill blood to stop us and there’s no point in us turning up.

After watching fans on ATV tell everyone that it was a certainty ...

Seriously though North London will typically bottle it towards the end of the season. Spurs are the specialists. Thought Arsenal would be sooner but after Leeds I thought they are just not going to drop enough points. We had similar run ins as well except we had more games which made me think we were more likely to drop points through rotation. Then their 3 draws in a row in April set it perfectly up for us, started to get a glimer of hope, once we smashed them I knew at some point they would bottle some more. I thought we would have had to win it at Brighton Away which would have been a bit crap but given how much last game drama we've had in the past i'll take a year off from all that, especially as we have 2 more cup finals!

If the Arse were unable to come back, physically and mentally, after the whacking they got at The Etihad then it's fair to say they are not made of title-winning stuff. We lost at the Arse some seasons back with Our Tata getting the goal. And everyone thought we were done. But the mental strength in some players is often overlooked. Just look at the times we came back from a 0-2, whereas the Arse were regularly snatching a 2-2 from a winning 2-0!

I actually thought we'd be lucky to get within 3 points of them. Then we beat them and after that a few jammy results definitely swung doubt to possibility. I'm still convinced they may claw the points back by September...

Just Bottlers.

Looking for a 10 point deduction for City.

Fuck the red shirt cartel fans.

I've been saying for a while now that we have had been given less credit for our achievements over the past few years than we deserve. We've hit a bit of bump in the road right now but this squad is more than capable of getting back. It just needs a couple of decent results and let's be honest it would have started last Saturday if we hadn't been cheated out of it. It's nowt to do with mental strength or weakness. Some fans really need to get a grip.
The above is what I posted back in January when some on here were flapping after the derby at the swamp.
I now rest my case :-)

For me, it was when Arsenal drew at home to Southampton. Up to then, they could only lose it, with that draw we put it back into our hands and we could win it regardless what Arsenal did.
