Those of you who left early

Possibly they had valid reasons for leaving early (and not just beating the traffic). If i was in a position to be there (check my location as to why I wasn't) I would stay to the end, and I do find it hard to understand the logic behind the early departure. But; each to their own I suppose.

There you go then, we almost agree.

I say almost because you find it hard to understand people leaving, I find it completely insane! Pay 25 quid and miss a climax like that in a must win Champions League match. It's barmy, whatever the circumstances!
We will score more late goals as well IMO as we get better and learn to keep our heads under pressure, so it is the early leavers who will lose out more and more.
let's not be silly now. you dont now peoples circumstances, it really bugs me when people moan about leaving early. without going into detail, we used to leave 5 minutes early and we could be home in 15ish minutes. yet the times we have stayed it could take up to 90minutes. and in actual fact getting home earlier really made a difference, i wont like i said go into details, but maybe if you would like to pm me i will educate you into some of the reasons, PAYING customers utilise their prerogative to leave early.

Once again you can`t be arsed to read things.
The TRUE BLUE was based on the other 13,000 early leavers who would argue that just because they leave early, are NO less a supporter than those left !
Deary me wind your neck in and let me book you in for some literacy skills.
Or is the main problem that there are no pictures to help you ?

these threads always go this way fella please dont see it as personal its not, common sense would suggest that out of 45000 supporters a small percentage have a very good reason for leaving early, however the majority who leave early do so because they cant be arsed sitting in traffic

if people leave it is up to them what annoys me is the ones who at least cant be honest as to their reasons

its like the attendance ones for cup games all of a sudden 50% of city fans have lost their jobs in the last week, the truth is they cant be arsed till the later stages, i dont go to all cup games for the same reason and if anyone asks me i will tell them

you have to be careful there mate a minority will have a good reason, and as the poster stated he would pm his reasons i would guess he probably has a very good one

I can't get my head around people leaving early when the game is still in the balance. I'm not having a go at those that do, but when it's 1-1 or 0-0 or you are one goal up I really don't get it.

Would you walk out of the pictures 5 minutes before the end of the film ?
Would you walk out of a gig before the last song ?

For me, even if the lads are winning 4-0 you stay to applaud them off.

Everyone is different and I know the odds of anything significant happening in the final minutes are very long, but I just think back to Gillingham 99 and last Tuesday as two occasions when it has paid off to be there.
