Three years of Bobby Manc

was at the spurs home game last month,
been to wembley with city 3 times, saw my first match at maine road in 1971

why is it that anybody that has a different point of view here is a rag, or its ok to question whether they go to the games or not ?

why are city fans so vindictive towards each other here simply because they believe this manager isnt necessarily the best thing since sliced bread, and couldnt of done it without the
massive cash injection from the owners !!

You should know better than to question Saint Bobby in any way.

Weren't we all told over and over again that "you can't just buy a team,
It takes years and years" Now we get "Anyone could have done it
given the money he's had". They want to make their minds up.
Whatever happens Mancinis place in our history and in my heart is assured.

We know he couldn't have done it without a massive injection of cash from the owners.

But you tell me one manager who could have

Mourinho?
Guardiola?
Ancelotti?

None of these three, nor any other manager, would have achieved what Bobby has done without significant investment. It just can't be done nowadays.

Mancini has won our first trophy for 35 years, won our first title for 44 years, embarrassed the rags at the swamp and had us scoring goals for fun in many matches last season.

While most of us acknowledge that RM isn't perfect, he has achieved these things in much less time than was expected of him.

And for that, many of us will be eternally grateful.

I'm glad that Hughes was so palpably useless that it left our owners with no choice but to remove him and that we captured an available manager of Mancini's quality who has propelled the club to the pinnacle of the league a lot quicker than reasonable expectations. We've got a real gem as manager, I'd say.

Try putting a coherent argument together for a start.

No point crying about criticism when you're coming out with bollocks about sheer luck and dull football which is clearly nonsense.

And mentioning the money is completely and utterly irrelevant, it;s the kind of thing you expect from fans of other clubs

That's a good point actually mate. Luckily nobody on here would regurgitate the media theme.

Mancini has done more than just 'turn the ship around'.

He has re-floated it, and set it on course for calmer waters!

FA Cup first season full season in charge and 3rd in PL
PL champions second full season in charge and robbed in semi's of Carling
3rd full season - Community Shield and currently 2nd in table (7 points clear of 3rd)

Only blot in his copybook, not done much in CL but we've had two bastard groups two years running.

I'm OK here
