Ticket Loyalty Points

I know a couple who are on over 34K points, who have finally given up watching City away, even yesterday the didn't attend and they won't go to the final. Until last year they were Superbia and have held season tickets for over 30 years. In one particular sesson, including preseason tours, as a couple they spent £20k watching City.

The reason is the new demographic of City's away support. Quote "It's full of drunken young lads, making absolute arses of themselves, or overseas visitors who are barely off the plane"

Yes City need to ensure new younger fans can get access to the away experience, but as stated by others, how these tickets are now being distributed is clearly questionable.
The very vocal minority didn’t want the ID checks of ten per cent of fans / tickets so we’ve got what we deserved.

Interesting to get some info on how it works for hospitality members. It's clearly not a free for all as some have suspected in the past, and their allocation is capped at 15%. No surprise that demand is massively outstripping supply for this game as every fucker and his dog wants to go to this one!
It's 15% for Hospitality members, 20% for OSC and 60% for ST holders (which can be extended to non ST holders if not taken up by ST holders). Then there's 5% off the top for 18-25 year old ST holders.

I think we all know that for many games 60% aren’t available for SC holders

I'd say it was more likely that for certain games, a number of tickets are taken off the total allocation meaning that the 60% is from a smaller than usual pot.
Think for quite a few games the % was around 40% of total allocation which is disgusting to the loyal fans.

The whole point was demonising loyal fans to cut the allocation. Straw men were made up by people with low points, I know the 34k earlier is impossible unless there was creative awarding for Superbia, but people who are close to 30k have been going to most games for a long time, and surprisingly don't want to queue 2 hours for tickets at away games.

We see 1k of a 3k allocation available to points holders sometimes, and whole blocks given to friends and family at Brighton away. Repeating %s stated once by the club is very naive.

The distribution of away tickets now is an absolute joke. The fact that only around 40% goes to loyalty points is ridiculous. My mates brother gets tickets for EVERY away game for him and his two mates off someone he knows from a supporters club who’s in hospitality. He and one of his mates have had STs for 2 seasons and the other one has never had a ST. The fact that they all get tickets for united and liverpool away and there’s people who are on 21k points who wont get a sniff is ridiculous and unfair

It’s not though, is it. Would you prefer the away end to just be full of FOCs who’ve had a season ticket since they were first issued by the vicar at St. Marks?

No not at all. Im 19 so only had a ST 2010/11 the only chance i get is on the 18-25 which is completely fair as i dont have enough points yet. I dont want the away end to be full of “FOCs” far from it, but instead of allocating loads of tickets to OSC and hospitality Why not Give the majority to loyalty points and then you could up the 18-25 to 10%. That way you would still get a solid amount of young fans but give the majority tickets to fans that have racked up points through loyal support. Not to people who dont even have a ST like in my original post.
