Ticket Office Again

I know the majority get along okay with them, but I literally never get luck with trying to buy tickets outside of my ST.

In the cup schemes the used to take money twice by accident or on random days, for the FA cup final they'd forgotten my supporter number even existed and for the Semi they didn't send the tickets and I had to collect them at Wembley.

Today I'm trying to buy Barca tickets and online I'm informed I've already reached my allocation for tickets for the Barca game. I haven't even bought a ticket yet, so how can I of reached my allocation?

So now, rather than do it online I've been in a 'queue' of 198 people for 36 minutes being told that I'm important to the club. I bet the first thing they will say to me will be 'you've reached your allocation for the Barca game'. At that point, ladies and gentlemen, that loud noise you hear echoing across Manchester will be the sound of me tearing the B/O a new one.

And when I eventually do get my ticket now, I'll be charged a booking fee for the pleasure of wasting part of Saturday morning waiting for a crap service to work.

If I was this ineffectual at work I'd be sacked. They just can't this bad really, can they?
 
Got mine this morning after starting off 578th in the queue,they are just really busy i suppose.
 
The fact that 193 people are in the queue gives you the reason why they are stretched today.

I always find them and customer services really helpful to be honest. They overcharged me for my West Ham ticket. One quick phone call and they refunded the difference straight away.
 
Rang to buy 4 for Barca at 9:00 this morning. We have to move from our usual seats low down in Colin Bell 3. 10 minute wait on the phone, served by girl who couldn't have been any more helpful, given 4 together same block about 20 rows higher. Job done in 15 minutes.
 
It's not the people, I have no qualms with them. Just spoke to a lovely lass (after 53 minutes though), but she was incredibly helpful and got the tickets and error sorted in seconds.

They've always been good at sorting problems (returning money, sorting out my ticket at Wembley)

My anger lies with the online system. It just doesn't work for me. It just seems my whole account is corrupt on their system as it's just problems, problems, problems.

I'm sure some middle management people will sit down on money eating danishs and drinking coffee and discuss how it needs to have 'a positive customer user interface' and to 'streamline effectiveness'. No, what it needs is to W.O.R.K.

Same happened to me,try emptying your basket,worked for me..

It's all sorted now. So it'll be worth it.
