Ticket Office Again

I've never had any issues with the ticket office. I can't remember the last time I called them. On all the cup schemes, buy away tickets online.
Cup Shemes take all the hassle out of buying tickets, and it's cheaper too, plus they'll come into their own when it comes to Cup Final tickets

But there will be fans who for whatever reason can't go week in week out, and the systems should still work for them too

Got mine a 9.05 this morning online, for some reason it wouldn't let me get my normal seat.. Which I find a bit of a surprise

One of the proper fans on the cup scheme will have it. :)

Don't the proper fans just sit in their normal seat ?

Not if their seat has been given to some of the hangers-on from UEFA or the press.

Do season ticket holders not in the cup scheme have priority over their usual seat today?

No, it's just first come first served. I managed to get our usual ones for those not in the cup scheme and then get the two behind us (which are seasoncard holders) to relocate a couple from the Family Stand. Sorry if they were your seats mekonmcfc , but the view is better in 220 than 10th row of the North Stand.

There's a pecking order. On the cup scheme, with a good seat? We'll have that. You can comandeer the best seat not on the cup scheme. Not on the cup scheme? You can have what's left.

I just joined the cup scheme at the outset. I walk up to the turnstile on matchday and hey presto I'm in.
This.

Well I'm pleased you are both in the financial and logistical position be to be able to sign up to the cup schemes. I, for work reasons am not, and therefore no longer partake in the CS but try and go to those I can.

Correct. My son's seat next to me on front row in 236 family stand has gone. Managed to get him one a row behind and 5 seats away so not too bad.

I'm sure you used to get priority on your usual seat for a couple of days or so and in the family stand for youngsters who can't do night matches usually I think there should be a bit of leeway allowed for them get their usual seat
