i once rang the ticket office and was way down the line for an operator, at the time my missus was making me a bacon butty...

after 10 mins i was still on hold for the ticket office, but bacon butty was shoved infront of me ready... Thought id sink my teeth in to the butty, just as i did sods law and a young lady answerd from the ticket office "can i help you please".. I said "sorry not be a second,im just biting in to a bacon butty as ive been waiting a while." Girl must have been crammed as fuck because she said "i find that very rude so ring back when you have finished". Then she put the phone down.

Moral of story, let your butty go cold !
Or they employ people capable of dealing with paying customers. I'd have laughed, asked you what sauce you've got on it and taken your order when you've not got your mouth full. They'd not have jobs without City fans buying tickets.
The customer is always right. (Or used to be.)

It's amazing that, for all our expansion plans, we still don't employ enough people in customer services to answer the phone promptly. I am on the cup scheme and, for some reason, my automatic card payment was refused. I have had two threatening emails saying if I don't update my details they will take me off the scheme and deduct my loyalty points. The email message directs you to update the card to a link that does not exist! Trying to phone but can't get through. After 47 years and over 11,000 loyalty points they still treat me like dirt. City may be CL on the field but off it we are still in the Third Division! These days there is no excuse for not answering the phones. Other firms can do it. No problems with the staff when you get through just poor management

I think the club use seetickets as the ticketing agency. Not 100% though.

I had a problem this morning trying to get my barca ticket, in a queue position after slowly going down I finally got to 2 in the queue then eventually 1. As soon as I got to number I was cut off. Rang up again and started all over again at 12. Useless. Finally did manage to get a Barcelona ticket.

Phoned up at 5 to nine expecting a long queue as I wanted to drag through a junior ticket as well, Option 1, Option 1, Option 2, Option 2 a little bit of music then they picked up straight away. Went through the seat availability and the lady put me on hold rather than asked me to ring back. 9pm she pick up the call again 30 seconds past I had two tickets in the Family Stand. Brilliant customer service, Ticketmaster would have made me call back.

Tell me about it mate they didn't take my money for Blackburn so rang half hour to get through, the girl was charming and couldn't understand it so she took my card details and processed my seat, I got the result e-mail Saturday morning then half ten at night got transaction declined e-mail? WTF. So Monday morning into ticket office queued for 15 mins to find out what's going on. turn's out declined is off scheme when she checked card details the ones on Champions league and League Cup scheme were different from F.A.Cup scheme someone had inputted one number different. Why do I see disaster when I get to the turnstile tonight.

I thought there was only me that can't stop that popping up every screen!! Thank goodness it is happening to others as well.

Just thought it would be good to add some balance to my despair when I started this thread.

I spoke to CS after the Barcelona debacle and they promised they would look into it and sort it for the future.

This morning, 09:11, logged in online was able to get mine and my dad's LC final tickets no problem.

Well done City, excellent customer service.
