Ticket Office Again

Just a quick warning to anyone who is on cup schemes and has two people set up on the same direct debit account. Check that you have both had your money taken from the the account (e.g father and son) . They managed to take my money for the Blackburn game but had an e mail from them yesterday warning my son that his card had been deactivated due to them not being able to take the money. Supposedly this is due to "multiple transactions" according to their supporter services people. So because of their archaic systems I have to call them up to make the payment unbelievable!

The fact that 193 people are in the queue gives you the reason why they are stretched today.

I always find them and customer services really helpful to be honest. They overcharged me for my West Ham ticket. One quick phone call and they refunded the difference straight away.
Probably only got one line open

Just rang ticket office to get our 5 Barca tickets and had it confirmed that I wanted 2 x adults at £50 and 3 x 18-21 year olds at £40 which is the correct configuration of our season tickets, but as I was using my wifes debit card over the phone I wasn't allowed to purchase them. Fair enough no problems with that and so I eventually got logged onto a computer and got them online where it confirmed I was buying 4 x adult tickets and only 1 x 18-21 year old. So costing me an extra £20. How does that work out? In the end I just got them as I haven't got the time nor the inclination to ring the club and discuss it further and as I didn't have to pay £2.50 booking fee per ticket so the only extra I eventually paid out was £7.50 but does anybody know why there is there a difference in ages from phoning the club to going online?

I don't suppose two of the 18-21 year olds turn 22 before the match? If not I'd be phoning the club and asking for £20 back.

It might help, it might not?

With regards to those people being informed they have already used their permitted allocated ticket...

I got this message a number of times yesterday and carried on with this lark for a good 20 minutes or so, not understanding why.

I finally noticed that if you also have friends and family on the account, (it will appear on the bottom right hand side of the buying page), you have to also highlight in green the actual member you are buying the ticket for.

It was default set on my name, which, already being on the Champs scheme, was the reason I kept getting this bloody message.

It's a far too subtle design function/feature, without any indicators, which I can imagine a lot of people fall foul of?

i once rang the ticket office and was way down the line for an operator, at the time my missus was making me a bacon butty...

after 10 mins i was still on hold for the ticket office, but bacon butty was shoved infront of me ready... Thought id sink my teeth in to the butty, just as i did sods law and a young lady answerd from the ticket office "can i help you please"..

I said "sorry not be a second,im just biting in to a bacon butty as ive been waiting a while"

Girl must have been crammed as fuck because she said "i find that very rude so ring back when you have finished". Then she put the phone down.

Moral of story, let your butty go cold !

Same happened to me though I was logged in for my daughter who is not in CL scheme. I think the site was suffering under the volume of people looking.

What was the outcome of the west ham over charging ? Are the club going to refund people who were charged £20 where it should have been £15?

-- Tue Jan 14, 2014 2:17 pm --

What was the outcome of the west ham over charging ? One does (4th Feb) but if I remember correctly it was her's they kept at the lower price, which is even more confusing and the other two are 18 and 20, so it should have only been one at most with the increase and not two. I will have to ask the ticket office in the next few days when I am down there. Would have thought though that there computers would have come up with the same pricing?
