Ticket prices for 2nd leg v PSG.

I've just updated my post to say you're right about the £36. But the £75 seats can be bought normally and they don't offer parking or a drink so it's not unfair to include those. The point was that people say Arsenal/Chelsea/Spurs charge so-called London prices as they have a wealthier fan base. But we're charging London prices and we don't have either a wealthy fan-base or one as extensive as the rags or Liverpool.

Yes the starting prices for seats for West Brom and other games should be cheaper.

The £75 seats can be bought normally because we haven't got enough Premium / Corporate type fans to snap those tickets up as season cards etc.

Some of the people on here complaining about ticket prices were supportive of the 93:20 and Joe's price hikes! They bought into dream that there was an army of rich Blues who would pay over the odds so that tickets in much of the rest of the ground would be cheaper!

I guess we'll agree to disagree about the premium seats but I do agree with you about London prices. That said there are plenty of football fans in London on minimum wage, that's another thing though. Those prices at Everton though show it's a national problem and the way forward has to be a national campaign same as it was for away prices.

What a sad state of affairs at the moment. We are playing so poorly and lose to a crap United team. We should be looking forward to a CL quarter final but now City have ruined that for many because of the ridiculous prices. What a really depressing time....all my previous enthusiasm is draining away.

Well Mr Soriano....I think it's time for action....reduce the CL prices to about 20 pounds and give everyone a big lift....and then let's at least have a big party against PSG....win or lose.

Whoever came up with those prices wants sacking. I don't care if it sells out there is absolutely no justification for anything over £40 for a quarter final second leg that may even be a dead rubber (hopefully after we have won comfortably in Paris).
Can't see it selling out until after first leg. I would not like to fork out a sixty spot when the tie could be alrady over.

Very good post!

Hopefully for once we all pull together and make a stand because prices will just keep going up and up until we say enough, the I'm alright jack types, it will reach your threshold eventually, we must stay together

Just released a statement defending the price stating it's a fair price seeing that it's a quater final of the champs league.

lovely sentiment, unfortunately not a chance, already taken the cash, its great being on the cup scheme, you get the chance to be skint much earlier than everyone else, and then you get to see the club give loads of tickets away when they are struggling to sell them. The one perk of being on the scheme ie access to away tickets has now turned into a farce with collecting tickets abroad, just more hassle, last year for our group unless they improve it significantly, supporting should be fun, not an expensive chore with nothing in return.
