Ticket Prices

Odd empty seats around like there are at any ground but it was basically a full house. I think people are getting over sensitive about this.
Looked like loads of empties in the Family Stand
I never went as £50 for a pensioners ticket is a bit strong
If the prices were reasonable I would have gone with my wife & granddaughter
Instead we watched it in the house
A poster reckons about 2 -3 thousand empties
Still a great crowd though considering the conditions & price of tickets
Well done Blues

There may well have been 2k or 3k of empty seats but how many of those could have been resold? Plenty of Blues couldn’t get to then game because the weather played havoc with their travel plans. I know a couple who had to stay in Portugal for an extra night (due to cancelled flights) and the earliest train to Manchester (after landing in London) was too late to make the game. Our coach to their match almost turned back after being stuck in Harrogate for over an hour and some of us switched to driving over.

There are also some Blues on my row who choose not to resell their tickets when they or their friends can’t make it. Maybe those seats could be resold but that would be difficult to manage too.

I thought it was an excellent crowd given the conditions and there are always likely to be a couple of thousands of empties when the weather plays havoc with people’s travel. I’m all for cheaper tickets and some seats were being sold for £25 to £30 on the unofficial ticket Facebook pages.

There were 214 unsold around kick-off. If all those that didn't go put them on the exchange there would still have been the same number of empties with a big oversupply and around 750 being removed from the exchange at 2.30pm.

Of all the unsold corporates there was evidence of 18 out of the 214 unsold being listed as normal tickets close to kick off, mainly Legends lounge which is the middle of SS2.

If you know several days ahead you couldn't go, most would have disposed to friends and family, but how many had this notice, and even if you give them away the recipient may not fancy it on the day or be able to make it themselves due to the storm and snow.

Demand will be a lot higher for the next home game, but still not everyone will get there, that is life.

Brighton showing as sold out now 3 weeks In advance, although likely to be moved. I wonder how many will be for sale through the exchange on the day of the game.

I'm pretty sure it's nowhere near sold out and Is infact yet another glitch on our wonderful ticketing system that ensures we will also make it as difficult as possible to get bums on seats

Depends when it's moved to, I have tickets but will depend which midweek it's moved to. May not be sold out though, they might have stopped selling because by Wednesday they will probably be moving it.

I don't think so it been selling well, there was only 250 seats left 9 days ago. I've had an email today saying my seat will be added to the exchange, exchange seats only go on the planner a week before or when sold out.

According to the site, there are 1500 tickets left for Sporting. Not bad considering we are 5-0 up.
