Ticket Prices

Yep, paid £150 the other day for me to take wife and kids to Arsenal Cup game. They even charged me £27.50 for 11-year-old daughter in family stand.

And it's on the fucking box.

West Ham have a family season ticket for two adults and two kids. Think it was something like £750 all in?

As I've said before; West Ham have got a big stadium to try to fill and they know they've got to price very competitively in London. Given their current position, they don't do too badly attendance wise.

City have worked out that a sufficient number of punters are currently prepared to pay over the odds for the Arsenal game, so they won't be reducing prices in the foreseeable future.

They've got to get prices right for the new North Stand in a few years or we'll be rattling around in there.

I said this earlier in the season, when for a family of 4 with memberships now required also it was extortionate in the current climate. It stopped some family members going to their first match with 2 city mad kids. Some people scoffed. We should do all we can to encourage the new generation. No idea what they are thinking….
Totally agree, city have an older fanbase who have propped the club up the last generation or so but the club has a great chance to secure the future supporters now. Seem very out of touch and only question in their minds seems to be how much can we get away with charging. Thanks for reciprocating the loyalty city !

What annoys me quite a bit, is that they encourage you to put your ticket on the exchange if you can't go.

Then reward you if it does sell for the £68 they're asking, with just shy of £22 for doing so, it's the height of cheek for me, why not sell it for £35, they still make nearly 50% for you doing it, and fill the seat.

Matchday/ Cityzens card holders are trapped here and getting fleeced. Season Tickets won't be available at the end of the season so we are stuck with paying £58 to £68 for a PL home game.

Good to see there's a backlash on twitter and plenty of seats available for the Spurs game. Might be a lesson to the yuppy tosser who set these prices.

Due to the cold weather and poor form people are listing as the club has guaranteed the money back.

I bet the vast majority listed on the exchange and not sold eventually get used even if given away, but this won't happen tomorrow as the club took liability to encourage people to sell and it backfired.

It was badly thought out by the club with no cut-off given bar the 3 hours.

And takes weeks and weeks before they pay you! Easier to sell on here

I’d guess their reason for not doing that ( apart from the obvious money making ) is that it would discourage people from buying the normal full price tickets that haven’t been sold, knowing cheap ones are likely to appear once the exchange ones start popping up.

I’m going to take a lot of heat for this on here but those prices are relatively low.

Go to any sporting event in the US and you are easily paying $100-150 PER TICKET. Obviously there are examples of it being lower but this is universal in NBA, NHL, NFL, Tennis. I can assume the prices at Wimbledon for instance would be similar as well.

I brought my wife on our honeymoon to a city vs. burnley game in 2018. I was over the moon with the ticket prices!

Just saying it could be ALOT worse

Absolutely agree , we really need to do something ?

Ideally the 1894 group, city matters, supporters club should release a statement condemning it. We really need to push this into the spotlight and basically shame the club.

Most people aren’t part of these organisations so I guess maybe emailing the FSF or city directly could make a minute difference…
