Think that must be a mistake, surely it’s £9.70£97 to watch Celtic!
Villa fans are rightfully livid.£97 to watch Celtic!

Bloody hell, Villa have 1 upped us, horrendous pricing.
That's for every game.
Football fans are going to have to unite at some point.
As Pep has given all staff 10k each for their support and work, how about the Sheikh gives all us season ticket holders a few bob for decades of loyal support and putting up with crap and ridicule for 35 years? Come on Sheikh Monsour you know it makes sense!
We can all afford your ticket prices then, maybe even an exorbitant pie and pint in the ground. Afterwards we might even be able to stretch to an Uber home, instead of freezing our knackers off waiting for a tram or bus in the pouring rain. Hey if the bonus is generous enough we might even be able to turn the heating on when we get indoors. We can dream.

I’d be out of the scheme so quickly!Villa fans are rightfully livid.
£300-£400 per person to watch 4 games. 1 or 2 of which might be dead rubbers.
I’d be out of the scheme so quickly!
Come watch our B team play Mansfield for £25.Laughed at how they put 'we'll only charge you £25 for the league cup'. Well if you can afford to do that you don't need £70-£100 for the champions league.
And another thing is that we'll pick up a minimum of £60m for the Club World Cup next summer, probably more in the region of £100m if we perform to expectations. That should be part of our revenue in the current financial year. That revenue could be something like £850m or more. One final point that a few may not be aware of, I think City amongst others are going to receive an extra 20 Million in revenue just for being in this years new extended league format yet still increasing prices as they have.
Society is different now though. Some fans will be Haaland fans, not City fans. They’ll follow him wherever he plays. Remember the Mahrez fanboys on here?!
Once us legacy fans stop going, the percentage of new legacy fans will be less, especially if the pricing means only the rich or one off game people can go.
It’s unknown and you could be right too. It’ll be interesting to see where football is in 25 years. But by that metric, if society is different now then don’t clubs have to respond to those changes? Legacy fans will eventually die out so either way, whether they are previously priced out or not, doesn’t matter to clubs?
And by the way I partially agree with what you’re saying but I also, and maybe I’m being idealistic here, like to believe that some fans will fall in love with the spirit and soul of city. I know I certainly did when I started going in the 90s.
I’ve sacked the cup scheme off as a result.. I’ll take my chances on open sale£37.50 for cup scheme is taking the piss
Let me know how it looks.....I'll be burning in hell. It’s unknown and you could be right too. It’ll be interesting to see where football is in 25 years.
My Villa mate has said those prices are for each of the group games, as he thought initially it might be for home v Bayern only which would have still been bad
You might still be able to go!Let me know how it looks.....I'll be burning in hell.
