That's presumably what happened. Unfortunately that's the risk of not being on the cup scheme. It's not "taking the piss". It's running a business. I'm sure your mate can cope with having to view the game from somewhere a few rows away.

The whole of SS3 (we sit in 316) was supposedly sold out unless you wanted to sit in the back 3 rows, our seats are row F! City are holding the best seats back and then selling them on for a massive profit to tourists and anyone else with the money to spend. By the way , my mate is a FOC and his own seat would have cost him £37.50, how much will the club sell his seat for? Fucking disgraceful what is going on with ticketing at the moment and the cunts responsible should hang their heads in shame!

Not sure what's happened here, but all these seats are still available in 316 right now (12:37) so I think your mate was mistaken?

We don't. Look, I'm very critical of City at times regarding ticketing but I don't believe they've done anything wrong on this occasion. Your mate's seat is only guaranteed for league games if he's not on the cup schemes.

Edit: Just seen that someone has stuck the seating plan up for block 316 and seats are still available dotted all round that block?
