It was awesome in the Waldorf...

When that 3rd went in I broke down crying like a baby. Some random cute blonde with Dzeko on her back was hugging me for ages but I still couldnt stop crying haha! Best footballing moment ever.

Really enjoyed it in there. Was surrounded by some great blues. Lost my scalf though, had that since the derby few years back too. Had a metal city badge on it too if anyone has it. Oh well....

PS. I was the tallest person in there ha!

Hahaha she was with me mate. Were you the guy in the away top? You lifted me off my feet as we hugged! Fucking unbelievable day and I'm so chuffed that the place worked out.
It was BillyShears who suggested the Waldorf and it proved to be a great shout.

I wasnt in the away kit mate, I had a black gilet ( bodywarmer, if your not down with the kids ;) ) on and black hoody underneath with city scalf on. I was stood next to a post watching it on the big screen to your left when you walk in.

Wanted to watch it with decent blues who wernt dicks so really glad i went Waldorf.

Think i picked up most people around me!! Sorry, i get excited from time to time when City are involved.

Really enjoyed it though, amazing day!!

Well, for all of you that made it to The Waldorf, I know we enjoyed ourselves.

I have to admit I was blubbing away after THAT moment and I know that a bunch of women were filming me on their mobiles just in front of me near the big screen!

A big thanks to all those complete strangers I hugged for a whole 10 minutes too.

PS: I was the fella in the away kit with "Why Always Me? 6-1" on my back.

I did my fair share of bubbling in there too, what a great atmosphere it was in there.

Hugging complete strangers like i'd know them for years just made the experience something id never forget, i'm getting all worked up again just thinking about it

Woke up with a number of bruises today!

(i was the lad in the 1994/1995 city top)

nice shirt that! had an amazing time in there and met some great people. this is me and my mate after legging it to the ground at the final whistle.

HUGS AND KISSES to you all.Phil the 45 year old with blue city polo shirt and specs and electric fag.

Hi Phil, I was one of the lasses stood on the seats to your left.

Don't think I'll ever forget the noise when that 3rd goal went in.

Amazing atmosphere in the Waldorf..... covered in beer, sweat and tears. I was in the old blue Philips shirt smoking a huge Cuban Cigar after the final whistle, then back in to sweat and sing a bit more.

what a day i was stood on the seats with you i was the emotional lad in the white tshirt and blue tie on. never ever forget that day

was at the ground till late, went to mary D's and saw the q and it was like something from a disney ride!! headed back to the centre and ended up in some underground jazz place with Adebayor serving everyone haha, but as soon as we won he switched off the TV's so ran out to Mother Mac's (having a lock in) so then ran down to the Waldorf to be met by loads outside!! also there was a Swedish TV crew member there and he came up asking for a sensible interview and came to me and i said (didnt know at the time) " yes i have, We've finally fucking done it, we've beat them fuckers in Fergie time"

I've found the video which has us all celebrating outside on swedish tv which you can see below from 30 secs in haha, you can see me with the scarf at 40 secs & unfortunately my interview didnt make it lol

<a class="postlink" href="http://svtplay.se/v/2801207/gladje_bland_cityfansen" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://svtplay.se/v/2801207/gladje_bland_cityfansen</a>

Celebrations in there after were amazing though, great day all round!!
