Ticketless BlueMooners, let's do this.

Thought i would post this in here rather than make a new topic, but IF we win it, does anyone know what the plans for a parade would be again? as it will be in the week wont it so i will need to plan to book time off and get up there, cant miss out on this haha!!

I think Mary D's could well check that people have tickets for the game before letting people in. I have had to show mine a number of times when going in there.

I would imagine you will get in to watch the game but only when it starts thinning out a bit at say 2.30pm.

Unless I can convince my little brother to stay at home and allow me to upgrade his ticket, I will be in the pub to watch it. Let us know where and when.

I'm definitely up for Mary D's, be there nice and early at about half 11 probably!

The Blue Alliance lads/City Centre branch had a bash at the MacDonald hotel (the old BT building on London Road, next to Piccadilly Station) before one of the games earlier this season, with some old players turning up.
Maybe they have a contact in the hotel who can put a room aside showing the match for you?

So have we got a definitive place or not??

The places mentioned so far have been -

The Green near Picadilly station

The Kippax pub on Grimshaw Road - this is proving to be quite a popular choice

Then of course there's Mary Ds

Also had a couple of decent shouts via PM for places a bit further afield but like De Niro says, it's probably best to find a place as near to the ground as possible.

This is a really good idea imo with lots of benefits to it -

For people coming in from out of town via train it will be simple to find.

Would guarentee a decent spec. Let's face it, everywhere is going to be rammed and if we get a few numbers there's no guarentee we'll be able to get in anywhere as a group.

Only ten mins by taxi to the ground.

I'm easy as to where we go. The only criteria for me is that its closeby so we can quickly get to stadium - that way we can get there whilst everyone is still inside and see the trophy being paraded (IF we win) via screen at City Square and then join in with the celebrations outside and meet up with those who had tickets.

And that I'm not trudging around looking for someone that lets me in at 2.50pm.
