Tickets home - Real Madrid - Sold out

The club new very well it was coming that's the exact reason they have done what they done today.
The chaos has been engineered to ensure that everyone signs up to the cup scheme next season.
This is done by design and not accident. This fixture was guaranteed to sell out twice over at least.
So let's cause bedlam, have a bun fight for tickets and everyone will remember it.
To allow every single season card holder to try and secure a ticket at the same time is breath taking in its madness.
No semblance of priority. No system of selling tickets. No use of loyalty points. No nothing just chaos.
Even we couldn't cock this up this badly if we tried. This has been done by design.
In the unlikely event this is correct, its quite clever management.

I think you are confused. there is a difference in wumming and telling it as it is. our crowds are an embarrassment and its time someone said so. we've waited years to be at this level and our fickle fans shun games. unbelievable. the fact that we've crashed the web site today proves my point entirely. glory hunters. end of. that's fine but don't slag the club off for struggling to cope with the surge in interest. going off previous ticket sales they could never had seen this coming.

All the hand wringing by the usual suspects. Bottom line: if you want to guarantee a ticket - get in the cup scheme. If you want the aggravation of queuing - don’t. But don’t crib when it takes some time to get through. You’re given the choice at the beginning of the season to watch several european cup games for less than 35 quid a pop.

Not hand -wringing but how about if you work away from home in the week but are made redundant at Christmas?
Why would you shell out for the cup scheme when you can't get to the games?

Possibly only me that this applies to so I've had to bite the bullet today and queue.

But I guess there are many other reasons that people didn't sign up on SC renewal.

So slagging them off and calling them glory-hunters without knowing their circumstances is the mark of a total prick.

I'd be more concerned where a lot of these additional tickets that SC holders can buy will eventually end up. I stood next to a delightful young Japanese couple in 116 for the last Barca game.

Very true!

very cynical.

Then why let any season card holder regardless of loyalty points or length of time of support purchase FOUR tickets?
When was the last time anyone was allowed to purchase 4 tickets from the very first second of them going on sale
never mind one the biggest games in our history?
I'll tell you why Bill...
So they would sell out quickly. SC holders would go mental and then sign up to the cup scheme when you renew your SC which
Just happens to be next week - oh what a coincidence!
Cynical - yes it is. It is cynical in the extreme but it's the club who are being cynical on this one I'm afraid to say.
Sad, but this is what we have now become. A machine to moneytize the fan base.

Agrees again. :-) I got confirmation of my seat yesterday, I makes it so much easier. ;-)

No it's not clever. It's either highly cynical or complete and total incompetence.
Pre take over it would have been the latter for sure now it is simply the former.

Quite a few on here made a big deal of resigning from the Champs League scheme before the PSG game. Each to their own. That said, they are strangely silent tonight!
