Tickets home - Real Madrid - Sold out

Then why let any season card holder regardless of loyalty points or length of time of support purchase FOUR tickets?
When was the last time anyone was allowed to purchase 4 tickets from the very first second of them going on sale
never mind one the biggest games in our history?
I'll tell you why Bill...
So they would sell out quickly. SC holders would go mental and then sign up to the cup scheme when you renew your SC which
Just happens to be next week - oh what a coincidence!
Cynical - yes it is. It is cynical in the extreme but it's the club who are being cynical on this one I'm afraid to say.
Sad, but this is what we have now become. A machine to moneytize the fan base.
Can't really argue with you.

Totally disagree. FACT - fans haven't bought tickets for cup games so far. The name The Emptihad is not fair but we can't deny that for most cup games, lots of fans don't turn up. we get to a semi final and everyone wants a ticket and then blames the club for not anticipating this..... cynicism....... its all in your mind.

Real Madrid in the CL semi final.....the club should of anticipated this.
4 tickets per card, then 2....the club should of anticipated this.
A 5 hour slot.....the club should of anticipated this.
Whoever came up with the idea of 4 tickets, then 2 per card, included with a 5 hour slot...wants fucking IMO.
Was always going to be a scramble as of 9am today.

I think you misunderstand our fan base. It is predominantly working class. People have to prioritise.
It gets seriously expensive to have a season card and be in the cup schemes if you can't attend the cup games due to work, family reasons or a change in
kick off time to suit the BBC.
A lot of our fans simply cannot afford it. Maybe you are lucky and it's OK for you but everyone is not that fortunate.

Our crowd figures for cup games this season haven't been too bad - we even got over 40,000 in the league cup against Palace. Go back 10 years and we'd have been lucky to get 25,000 for that match. Our support base is growing without doubt but we're not at the stage yet where we can get 54,000 plus crowds for every cup game as well as every league game. Midweek games in the cups in particular often struggle to sell out whereas we've routinely been selling out FA Cup weekend games against Championship opposition over the past few seasons.

That's true Tim, remember that well.

But not everyone was that bloody-minded. I for one would have signed up if wasn't working away.

I still think there'll be tickets going for fortunes that SC holders bought today.

Good point mate. There will be some Spares knocking about next Tuesday and people should do the decent thing by selling at face value!

Quite a few on here made a big deal of resigning from the Champs League scheme before the PSG game. Each to their own. That said, they are strangely silent tonight!
Yes I left it before the PSG game because I knew I couldn't afford to cancel work bookings AND fork out £50 for a ticket. I am able to make the Madrid game and eventually got a ticket but that doesn't make today's farce acceptable.

Yes more than a few people did resign from the cup scheme before the PSG game and it is no coincidence that the price of a ticket
for the semi final against one of the biggest football clubs in the world is cheaper than a quarter final ticket against PSG.
You need to thank those who did resign from the cup scheme for the cheap tickets you have purchased today and not scoff at them.

Maybe so and you've made a good point. I gave credit to some Bluemooners for the reduction in family stand prices just before the PSG game. That said maybe some Blues should take their share of reaponsibility for the shit atmosphere at the Derby - when ideally talk of protests should have started after that key game!
