Time for a new tune?

We need to base it on the fastest song possible so we can’t speed it up any more than the original. It will be hilarious to see some fans try as they just can’t help themselves.

But we are in serious need of some new City songs (don’t have to replace Blue Moon, just added to the list). Not players or manager songs, or songs about United and Liverpool, we’ve got loads of those; songs just about City - we’ve hardly got any and we’ve not had a new one for decades.

We’ve hardly got any songs that we sing when it’s 0-0 or especially when we’re losing, to get the team going. We rely on Blue Moon too much for that (the only other one we have is Come On City).

Bluemoon is a great song but it just dies out too quickly because nobody knows the words, so it's just the first few lines repeated then it fades away. It's associated with us now so it's going nowhere.

I miss Helen's bell to get the crowd going. A few years ago somebody was ringing a bell at the stadium and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, it was superb and very poignant.
