Time for the owners to repay the fans

I heard on GMR on the way to the wigan match that the season cards for next year 09/10 were going to be cheaper but they didn't say by how much

Ticket revenues make up 20% of the clubs income.

So to reduce that by a few percent won't make that much difference. However, attendances are VERY POOR at the moment, so they would be mad to hike up prices for next season. A price freeze or a small increase is probably on the cards. I doubt they'd reduce season tickets, although I would love them to.
Attendances are very poor? I don’t think so we are one of the best supported teams in England, we should be proud the amount of loyal supporters we have coming through the turnstiles.

There used to be a time where a family of four would watch city, mum dad and 2 kids, prices have impacted on that badly, I once took my boys week in week out and the missus would also come along some weeks, on top of the tickets you need to think of transport costs, food and drink for the kids etc, it all adds up, you just cant afford it these days.

These days I am afraid it is just me; I cherry pick the games for my sons as I know others do, not because I want to, but because I have too.

yes but would you like reduced rate season tickets for all new and old holders cause that would piss me off a bit that i have been a season ticket holder for years now and some new season ticket holder would get that same thing as me and many others who have been there through the shitty times

just because i dont have a season ticket doesnt mean that i dont go every home game, prefer to pay for each game as they come,45 years ,how about you, been to every cup final since 69 ,including vienna, how long have you been goin

MCFC is not a charity. It is a business so why would the owners just get rid of the main source of income for the club (season tickets).

They could however give it us interest free if we needed a couple of years to pay it off.

Re: Time for the fans to repay the owner

perhaps you should change the title of this thread. These owners owe us nothing. In fact they have resurrected our team. What a crazy notion that they owe us, I can think of 141 mil reason they do not own us. Added to that they have acted in a very classy manner.

season tickets and match day tickets will be cheaper for next season FACT!! if your in the south stand and paid 377 (before march deadline) you'll be pleased too know that 300 is what you will be paying

It will soon be time to renew the season tickets. How good would it be if the owners said the season tickets would be half price for next season? They can afford it and it would be a great kick in the balls for all the other Premier League teams.

WTF do the arabs owe us, they're not responsible for the last 30 years.

I'm just thankful they chose our club to invest in and spend 100million on Kaka. To then say they need to repay the fans is quite frankly ludicrous.

If you don't want to part with your hard earned to watch Kaka et al then you have to question how much of a fan you are.

Dear Sheikh Mansour, thanks for investing 100 million in Kaka but I will only go if you let us in for half price !!

Quite right, the Arabs dont owe us a thing. i for one will be forever greatfull to them....

but if you could reduce the price of the pies a little,..... thanks:)

After the match GMR were on about rumours at Eastlands yesterday about price cuts or even free season tickets for long term season ticket holders but they were looking for people to comment if they'd heard them. Has de niro ever found out what the big secret was? Maybe it's something to do with ticket prices. Who knows what's going to happen next at City

been going since 1973 season ticket holder since 1979 and yes been every home game since then most away games, every cup final, games in europe 1st one being in 1976 at juventus away and most of them since then, most pre season friendlies,so maybe that might answer your question plus my original statement was aimed at people who are about to jump on the bandwagon and if it were to happen which i dont think it will cause like others have said they owe us fuck all it should be done on loyalty points which if you have been going you would have no worries
