I eventually found the right arch supports but I had already subconsciously adjusted my gait to compensate for the pain, and now my hip and knee are paying the price. That said I am nearly 70 so not much chance of getting into the City squad, even after yesterday’s debacle.

I had PF. It’s a woman. Painful and debilitating. But it did eventually clear up, WITH REST…. and arch supports.

Rest is the only thing unfortunately.

Me n’all. Growing up, my shoe size was the same as my age - at 4 years old I had size 4 feet, at 6 size 6, by the time I got to 13 I had size 13 feet.

My bones grew quicker than my muscles could keep up with (same in my legs, used to get terrible growing pains in my legs, I was 6’2” at 13) and I used to get plantar fasciitis as the tendons would strain where the bones in my feet would stretch them out.

Very painful. Thankfully my feet didn’t grow much more, just one more half-shoe size.

I think that, having seen what happened yesterday, I'd go with the following if possible, and hope for best - it'd be as strong as we can be at the moment, imho:-

Get Ake to left back, as generally he deals well with Saleh when there.
Back 4 of Akanje, Stones, Dias and Ake.
A midfield of KDB, Gvardiol, Foden, Bernardo, Grealish
Haaland as the spearhead, with instructions to smash anyone near him.

Gundo, Walker, Lewis cannot start at Anfield, unless it's an emergency. Savinho can come on as sub - he's not producing much at the moment anyway.

I think this team would have the balls to stand up and be counted, with Gvardiol doing the Rodri bit - it has to be worth a try.

The team need to show some bollocks because at the moment a few out there are taking the piss. They have to be, how else do top class players who've won everything put in a horror show like that? They're not even doing the basics these days. Tracking runners, passing well, pressing, winning the ball. The defending is schoolboy level at best.
Us fans will be there as we always are, we've seen worse, but by fuck we had a team far below the levels of this squad back then. They now need to stop feeling sorry for themselves and sweat blood for that shirt.

They have sweated blood for years and years , playing every three days for ten months, every one of them , did you expect a 5 title in a row ? It was never happening , we have a whole team injured , the fit ones cant fill in every position
