Tino Livramento

Only way we get him is next season when he has 2 years left and if offered a new contract and turns it down! We offer 80m now they’ll say no 100m

I’m really surprised we haven’t heard a peep from his camp if we truly are pushing for this. It is possible he really likes it at Newcastle and doesn’t want the big move right now.

This is now his second game in a row playing left back instead of right back.
He is also on only a reported £50k per week.

He would be a nailed on starter at right back for City, and we would certainly increase his wages almost 3X range to the £150k range.

If he doesn’t come out of this window at the very least with an improved contract situation then he better fire his representatives.
Complete understand he is only 22, but the life of a professional footballer is not very long and for one the best right backs in the world to be tied up the next few years only making £50k per week is crazy in the current market

Yeah maybe it’s the Saudi Abu Dhabi thing where we inquire and say fuck off

Maybe he shouldn't have signed a contract that 'tied' him up for the next few years then

Top player but he's probably happy to stay where he is for the time being and Newcastle definitely won't fancy selling him. As much as we might want to will it into reality this ain't happening this summer

If we end up selling saviniho, should sending that money directly to Newcastle and asking how much on top for Tino

He had an ACL injury early on in his carrer.
I can understand why he went with a long term contract option.

However, his representatives need to earn thier money and explain to him that he is valued at 80M currently by his club. (Reportedly)
The idea that he should make 50K per week when that is the case is laughable to me, and hopefully he is at least fighting that internally if they won't even consider a move to City for him.

His representatives should have earned their money before he signed the contract by ensuring he wasn't 'tied' up for years on £50k either by release clauses or regular wage updates

I dont think the Isak situation has done any favors here at all. He wont want to rock the boat. I am sure if newcastle needed the money theyd have rathered sell him to us than isak to liverpool. Pity.
