I’m really surprised we haven’t heard a peep from his camp if we truly are pushing for this. It is possible he really likes it at Newcastle and doesn’t want the big move right now.
This is now his second game in a row playing left back instead of right back.
He is also on only a reported £50k per week.
He would be a nailed on starter at right back for City, and we would certainly increase his wages almost 3X range to the £150k range.
If he doesn’t come out of this window at the very least with an improved contract situation then he better fire his representatives.
Complete understand he is only 22, but the life of a professional footballer is not very long and for one the best right backs in the world to be tied up the next few years only making £50k per week is crazy in the current market
Maybe he shouldn't have signed a contract that 'tied' him up for the next few years thenI’m really surprised we haven’t heard a peep from his camp if we truly are pushing for this. It is possible he really likes it at Newcastle and doesn’t want the big move right now.

And he's not that goodSome of you need counselling for your Livranento obsession. He's happy at Newcastle, that's it.
I agree. He's decent but some bang on as though he's world class. And he's not that good
He had an ACL injury early on in his carrer.Maybe he shouldn't have signed a contract that 'tied' him up for the next few years then
He’s absolute class. Lewis in a game like this would be scaryI agree. He's decent but some bang on as though he's world class.
His representatives should have earned their money before he signed the contract by ensuring he wasn't 'tied' up for years on £50k either by release clauses or regular wage updatesHe had an ACL injury early on in his carrer.
I can understand why he went with a long term contract option.
However, his representatives need to earn thier money and explain to him that he is valued at 80M currently by his club. (Reportedly)
The idea that he should make 50K per week when that is the case is laughable to me, and hopefully he is at least fighting that internally if they won't even consider a move to City for him.
He's another world ahead of our so called RBs would immediately improve us. If you don't think he's good then unfortunately you need to go Specsavers :-)And he's not that good
In this game maybe. He's not worth worth the reputed 80m want imo. And he's not for sale so our interest in him is futile. He’s absolute class. Lewis in a game like this would be scary
Its incredible that anyone can watch Rico and not think that a new RB is a must. He's another world ahead of our so called RBs would immediately improve us. If you don't think he's good then unfortunately you need to go Specsavers :-)
I've been screaming for a right back for 2 years I just don't think this lad is the answer, but ha ho what do I know. Its incredible that anyone can watch Rico and not think that a new RB is a must.
