Tino Livramento

Which imaginary geordie told you this? I have seen many post like this where they call up their imaginary friend to strengthen their statement. There really is no geordie who told you this right?
I know fans of most prem clubs, host of championship clubs. Not out of the question when you have a job or travel.

No idea if you are just getting people confused or you don't know what you are talking about, but your timeline is out. Lahm was the traditional fullback that Pep transitioned into inverting to sit alongside the DM. Kimmich was a midfielder at Leipzig, started in midfield at Bayern and Pep then played him at RB (inverting into midfield) when Lahm retired.

The recurring feature of the better FBs under Pep is technical ability on the ball. He'd have a team of midfielders if he could, (hence his comfort at playing midfielders at FB), which is what pretty much everyone would agree with as typical of a Pep fullback. It's also not far fucking fetched that Geordies would not want us to sign one of their players
I'm not saying it's far fetched that geordies doesn't want him sold, it's just funny that alot of people here always say, well I know some geordies who said this, or I know some Evertonians who said that, it just sounds fake as fuck. No geordie will say livramento is a peps fullback. It's like them saying isak is such a slots striker, no one will fucking say that. That's the far fetched shit I see here quite alot.

Yeah, but apparently "many" of them said that livramento is a peps fullback. Why, why would anyone say that. Would you say rodri is a klopps defensive midfielder? Kdb is such a fergusons midfielder? It's just so pretentious. Put out your point, thats fair, no need to bring in imaginary friends into it.

Just say you don’t know anyone.

I have Boro fan mates who tell me Djed Spence is dog shit, doesn’t stop a bunch of people on here wanting to sign him.

I know normal people apparently, not anyone who will say their best player is best suited to play for a rival manager. No one, not one bloody sane person will say that, unless they play for the lower division and WANT their player to move to bigger club for prestigious reasons.

He doesn't seem to understand fans of different clubs can have sensible conversations about players and their attributes without wanting them to leave. That sensible fans understand a discussion that a player would be good or not for a different club doesn't make the blindest bit of difference as to whether a transfer will or won't happen.
That's okay, what I won't accept is being called a liar and making up those chats, even after explaining I live fairly close to Newcastle.

If anything they will sell abroad. They won't sell to their direct rivals. Same with Isak and liverpool

This was virtually what I was going to comment, shares the same points. Such a weird hill for that fella to die on. Hope he’s doin alright.

Depends doesn't it. At the end of the day, they'll sell where the money is - if Liverpool were to offer £120m for Isak, they aren't going to turn it down for a £60m from someone abroad. Not many clubs around have the big money for players.

Why is it so hard for you to believe someone who lives near Newcastle has mates who support Newcastle? Doesn’t mean their views are the views of all Newcastle fans but that wasn’t what he was saying. You were denying he has mates who support Newcastle? Thats fucking weird to be fair

Depends on the player too, if a player makes it clear they want this country or one particular club then a club can't make them move somewhere else.

Would be counterproductive for Newcastle to sell both Livramento and Isak. I doubt they will sell either as their goal is PL and CL. Walker was a known generational talent when we bought him. I can’t say the same for Livramento.

Money is only part of it. Newcastle are just as ambitious as us and their owners aren't stupid. There are one or foreign clubs who can actually afford him. Bayern if they are looking to replace Harry Kane could find the money if they think he is valuable? Real Madrid if they are looking for an alternative target to Haaland who is totally off the market.

Yeah it's possible, but it's not a guarantee. There is still every chance that IF they decide to sell, it would to a club over here - especially if it's the move the player wants (which it might not be).

Livramento was much more known when he was 19 than Walker. The only thing that dropped his hype was the ACL injury.

Regardless Newcastle won’t sell. They have too much ambition for that.

I'm not sure what the big deal is. I work with fans of other plenty of other clubs with almost every prem club being represented. When we were being heavily linked with MGW I spoke with the Forest fan about him and they reckoned he would do great at city but wanted him to stay at Forest. Nothing wrong in that.

I know quite a few fans who reckon they have a player who would improve another team and therefore would not want to sell them. I've certainly heard Newcastle fans who think Isak would improve Arsenal and Liverpool and don't want to sell him.

I don't think it unreasonable to think a player might suit a high profile manager with a recognisable style such as Guardiola or Klopp.

yes?

There's tons of players over the years I've looked at and thought "they'd fit United well". Hell, I was having a conversation just yesterday about who would fit in to Brentford.
