"Title is over" - Pathetic flappers

Re: "Title is over" - Pathetic flappers

We keep going until the end.
After all the years of watching (mostly) dire football I'm just enjoying watching the best City team I've ever seen.
And the rag debacle is just a cherry on the cake ;-)

Great post mate... Nail hit firmly on the head..

Depends on whether we want it enough..

chelsea will hit a rough patch at some point in the season.

the points can be made up if we up our game and priortise the prem instead of that two bit euro comp.

I agree that the season is NOT over but the people who say "there isn't a problem" or that "we are better than we were this time last season" or we "were unlucky"....need to be realistic....I agree that flapping and being realistic are completely different.....Pelle wants 4-4-2 and this doesn't fit with the strengths of a few players on this team.....something has to give before we can even think about pushing Chelsea for the prem....My problem is that I really cant see Pelle changing the formation he's built his pre-season on.....West Ham game was not a one off and poor performance from the team is happening too often for it to just be bad luck or bad ref......Season not over but I'm not sure Pelle OR some of the players are willing/able to change to put this right......we need to fight for this season because teams like Chelsea are better and we have no room for error.....

Well said, mate.

The way people go on about the 12/13 season is a bit nuts really. We comfortably finished second and got to a cup final. How can that be a shit season?

We'll finish top 2 this season, I'm sure, which makes it another good season. We can't win it every year and I'm not sure it wold be a good thing if we did. It's also worth noting that Chelsea have won the league once in 8 years. A sense of perspective is required.

Exactly this.

I watched the Spurs game, and even though we weren't at our best, I was thinking during and after the game how fortunate it is to be one of the best teams in the country with so many great players after many years of tripe (interspersed with some highlights, it has to be said, though). Typical of City to have a wobble this week after me thinking that, but every team goes through periods like this.

The question im asking myself is, we haven't even shown glimpses of our form last year, which worries me. Chelsea look so strong this year, I can't see them losing more than 3 or 4 games.

Stating the obvious but the best team usually wins the league and currently that is Chelsea. We are stuttering. If Chelsea win today then it's gonna be difficult to catch them performing like we are.

11pts behind by the time we play next.

Chelsea aint gonna lose 4 games with us losing no more.

Pathetic flappers?
