Title Race 2020/21

Incidently, if City are now at odds of 1/20 to win the title (and yes I know the best odds are 1/14) then baring earthquake, fire and flood (we've already had pestilence) it's over.
No it isn't for one moment. As much as bookmaker's odds indicate probability, the do not indicate certainty. After Liverpool beat Palace by 7 away, they were top and odds on. We were 10th! Things can change dramatically over 10 games and even if you average 2 wins in 3, you can lose 10 points if a team matches the run we have had. In short, we are a good team, playing well and in a good position but it most certainly is NOT over and I'm sure both Pep and his players know that.

8 points clear In April...

We are the odds we are because we are 5 points clear with a game in hand and are hardly conceding any goals at all. When it comes to City, I'm a glass half empty guy but the reallity is: If we score we win. Also, for the last 9 league games our performances have been pretty autonomic - not lucky.
As important, every one of our challengers is dropping points all over the shop and looks incapable of putting an extended run together to catch us.

Rags were leading with 8 pts when we won it in 2012.

It's not over until it's over.
Exactly

Still a lot of games to play and no one should be getting presumtious until its mathematiclly safe and that may not be till the last few games of the season for any club

Leicester are still a strong team

We play Spurs (with Kane back) next and also Utd as well in the next month and anything can happen in a derby......we also have Arsenal and although they are severely on the rocks at present Arteta is a decent manager and knows Pep inside out.

Get to the middle ofMach and still have the same lead or better and we will be in a very strong position.....lots of games to play

On the swivel from that, this season is a strange one with lots of sides taking points from others unexpectidly so again those chasing us could lose more ground as well.....

This. It’s a weird season and it’s lovely to have this lead but some tough games coming up
100% agree.

I will add though, having the best defense in Europe has me seriously optimistic.

Sure we might not win a game here, and there, between now and the end of the season.

The fact we are not conceding, means we are highly likely to take a point from games even if we are having an off day.
