I have and always will detest Hughes - i dont think and have never thought that he is good enough for a top 6 team - however i think that you have a valid argument / point that you make about knee jerk reactions - BUT there is a problem with the team and my concern is that he is not able to motivate the team for City to ever ever be successful under his management - its OK buying the best players BUT unless the manager is able to motivate them then quite simply we wont win anything - ask yourself this could Hughes hae done the same job as Renapp and Fulham - both clubs languishing at the bottom of the table or close to relegation - we are not winning the must iwin games to put us top 6 at the end of the season -

Let's look at the Redknapp comparison at the end of the season - both teams have spent loads and built a new side. At the moment Spurs are looking very similar to us; i.e World beaters one minute, shaky the next.

Think the point is that no matter what decisions are made there is always something to have a go at.
Put ireland in,stevie didnt have a great game,didnt see him making the runs he has previously and he was in the position that allows him to do that.
Drop de jong, Burnley crowded midfield with ball winners and bossed it at times.
If Hughes had taken someone off and brought De jong on to tighten things up he would have been castigated for being negative.
Barry lost the ball needlessly for Burnelys second and everyone blames Lescott.
Toure was nowhere for Burnleys third but no mention of that,maybe it was Lescotts fault,he seems to be everyones scapegoat at the moment,but then again it was burnleys midfielder who scored so who was picking up his run?Maybe it was Bowen or Hughes who decided not to bother tracking back.

I'm not happy with with the result but some peoples reaction is beyond belief,cue the f**k off happy clappers.
Well get real and stop acting like spoilt kids.
Weve spent all this money and should be the best.........it isnt like that in the real world.

Thought that the performance of the referee was the worst ive seen for a long time,no reflection on the result but poor decisions for both teams.
