Without disrespect that's aload of bollocks.

Spurs and us want Champions League the same, no more, no less.

Don't mix up form with wanting it.
If body language is anything to judge 'wanting it' on then the players are definitely not up for the task. In the last ten minutes of the game today the players were taking up lots of time taking throw in's, dead balls, the keeper took longest.

I expect that if we're winning 0-1 and it had been a scrappy game with not much football been played and we needed the win, not at 0-0 when a win was almost essential.

I think that's due more to the fact that we had a keeper who's only experience was 5 conference games for Wrexham playing in goals for us. Once Shay went off, we settled for a point, just like i did.

Totally agree with the OP.

Look at performances against Chelsea and Arsenal. Attack was their best form of defence and it worked for them. We have better players, a higher profile manager. Good backing staff, the players don't want it as much as them.

It's disgusting. All the money they are paid and they don't want to get better, aren't bothered about taking the football club, who pay their massively inflated wages, to the next level. Away from mediocrity.

Shameful. (And yes, if you've read some of my other posts tonight, I'm not in a happy mood).

Wow.

And people wonder why Bluemoon has the reputation it has.

I was disappointed that we settled for a point today but I don't think their commitment was open to question. Weird performance by Tevez, though.

IP, us fans I agree. But the player are not showing the same commitment. Look at Ade, comes on and makes a good impression in the first 15-20 mins then goes cold, why? because it the only game he wants to prove hes a good player, in front of his previous team. If he showed that sort of commitment through out the season then you have a valid point, but Ade is just one player that is not arsed.

Using Adebayor is a bit of a poor example to be fair because whether he is chasing a Premier League and Champions League double or fighting relegation from the conference, he will always give you hot and cold performances but his goalscoring record speaks for himself.

The players all want it, they wouldn't have moved to us if they didn't want it, they moved to us because we were going to compete and get in the champions league.

Do you not think that most of the players want it? but some maybe just came for the money?. Ade for example, got his agent to ask Utd if they where interested before he put pen to paper with us. Did he really want to change City into somthing new or did he see the pound notes?

I'm venting my frustration on an internet forum full of City fans. My opinion is my opinion.

Also, don't act as if bluemoon has such a bad reputation because of our fans stimulating debate. That's what a forum is for mate, and it's a damn sight better than any other City forums around.

as a defensive game we where fookin brilliant, and we took a point of the 3rd best team in england, we closed the gap on spuds and we have villa and spurs inthe next week and a half, with a bit of luck and a lot off effort, from ALL concerned, and yes i mean us fans aswell, its not out of the question , ok, we had a bad break with SHAY, but we are still close and if anything were probably stronger than this time yesterday. GUUNAR PLAYED WELL IN A SHORT TIME< SO I WANT TO HOLD JUDGEMENT FOR THE TIME BEING< HE HAS BROAD SHOULDERS < AND HE WILL NEED THEM.
