as a defensive game we where fookin brilliant, and we took a point of the 3rd best team in england, we closed the gap on spuds and we have villa and spurs inthe next week and a half, with a bit of luck and a lot off effort, from ALL concerned, and yes i mean us fans aswell, its not out of the question , ok, we had a bad break with SHAY, but we are still close and if anything were probably stronger than this time yesterday.

the 4th best team beat the 3rd best team last week and looked alot better, than the 5th best team that took a draw today. my head hurts.

Tottenham want this we don’t want it as much, the last few games tell a true tail. They are hungry and there starting 11 look strong, quick and look dangerous. We look like we are playing for a draw, not loosing but not looking enough for a win. Now who is down to us playing like this? Mancini or the players?.

Does Mancini want us to finish 4th? of course he does. Do the players want it? Not sure if they are that arsed ( Not all but a few).

My prediction on 4th spot will go to spurs because, 1 they deserve it and 2 they want it more than our players.

FFS! Of course the players want 4th, EVERY player want's to play in the champions league! It was a fantastic display, of a team carrying out their manager's tactical instructions to the letter. We negated a team, who can pass you to death, while taking the game to them in the final 3rd of the match. A point at the emirates, at this stage of the season is a great result, Let's get behind the boys for villa and roar them on to 4th. Negativity, meh!

I am extremely frustrated about this because for the one period in the match where we threw a few people forward, we looked dangerous but we just didn't do enough of it. I can't understand why we played for a point. I think we needed to win this one. The spuds can look at that table tonight and think they've got away with it a bit.

I know, its a big dissapointment knowing we could of gone in front of them tonight. They will feel it was a good result, us drawing tonight.

-- Sat Apr 24, 2010 9:43 pm --

Its not over, till its over...man up.

dunno? ;)

We usually go to shit after a derby defeat. In any situation a win at the Emirates is a big ask, as far as I'm concerned a point is a decent result. I won't say 'good' per se, as we could've won it with better passing and taking advantage more on the counter, but I'm not downhearted tonight. The pressure is still on Spurs and I think we can beat them and Villa, and with West Ham safe all but mathematically, they'll have nothing to play for. Don't write us off yet, on the whole we made a good account of ourselves today.

I have been supporting City for many years now and I am finding it very hard to shake this "typical City" tag of me. I hope you are right matey.
