Maybe you should have asked what was he doing with it, I am sick of seeing the half and half shit that's being worn by customers at our ground. If your a City fan you wear something with the clubs colours or crest on it. If you can't make your mind up please take your custom somewhere else.

We need their custom.

Agreed but put them in a dedicated block or something.
People get wound up at footy and seeing stuff like that will send a few over the edge.

There was in 324 where I sit a good 50 of them! Also a row of foreigners behind me think African who were getting very excited every time arsenal got near the box! Don't mind people throwing money city's way but I can see trouble if away fans keep getting tickets in the home end!

Re: To the Chinese "fan" sat in front of me at game yesterda

There was a guy in 117 with a Leeds hat on and in the second half was on Skype to his wife and child .......

When I was leaving the stadium on level 2 - an Arsenal fan unzipped his coat to reveal an Arsenal away shirt and took a selfi. Imagine what it will be like when we extend. loads of tickets going to away fans because we cant fill it.

He probably was on a day trip to Manchester.Went to the swamp, took a few selfies and bought some souvenirs then took in the City match. We might not like it but it is a sign we are now a top club and you can't blame these people wanting to take in the experience they see on tv. It is part of the modern game like it or lump it.

But City are encouraging it.

Only the FA/Premier League can save us from the selfie c**ts.

Surely if spurs and the arse are banning it, why can't city? U could argue that the teams in London will have more cases but city are attracting fewer than normal recently

The half-time selfie shite to me says to all the tourists in the ground - get your stick out.

And because on average people mention it on here but don't contact the club to complain, nothing will happen.

That said, I think it a bit daft that Spurs as a club ban something following one persons complaint:

I was sat in 221 yesterday and there were a couple of families with their selfie sticks. Just before kick off, unprompted, a steward spotted them and politely told one of the families that it wasn't allowed and to put them away in their bags. I've no problem with these stick things however apart from them looking ridiculously silly.

As for the tourists with the utd bags, they are more than welcome, if they are so fickle that they will visit both clubs I relish the chance to turn them into full time Blues, maybe next time they will bypass the swamp and go straight to the City shop. Small Acorns and all that.

At the back of 307 there's quite a few Oriental gentlemen who spend most of the match taking selfies and recording the match with their ipads.

Last year's derby 2 blokes in front of me and my lad who stood up every time the rags went forward and stayed seated after City goals. After the 4th goal I tapped them on the shoulder and said "your team is fucking shite"

Another one for the agenda thread!

It often seems to me that there are plenty of Arsenal fans spread around the stadium. They seem happier than most to risk the wrath of home fans. Cant say I've noticed any of them misbehave.
