Sunderland are indeed a no-mark down trodden club from a no-mark downtrodden City (I assume that Sunderland is a ‘City’, laughable though it may seem). If Sunderland had been on the receiving end of the good fortune that City have, they would still fail because nobody would want to go there - the place is a shit hole with absolutely nothing to commend it or its people. There is a touch of the ‘scouse’ about the North East in general, but Sunderland in particular - you play the ‘victim’ particularly well.

The fact that Wearsiders are envious of Newcastle says it all. Your fans have been a bunch of cunts since I’ve been going, which dates back to the early 70’s. They are still the same, they were yesterday and will be next year. As for your referral to O’Neill and ‘divine Intervention’, let’s see what it’s like in a season or two, when he’s spent your limited amount of money on shite players and you are languishing in the bottom half of the table - it’s an inevitability. Meanwhile, we’ll look upon Sunderland and their fans as the no-mark, downtrodden shithouses that they are.

Now fuck off back to your own board of in-breds you six fingered idiot.

You're a class act, mate.

I lived in Manchester for about 6 years.

Loved the place. By and large, Mancs are good lads.

I can see that, coming from Sunderland, assuming that you do of course, that you would prefer Manchester - entirely understandable.

The feelings are not mutual I’m afraid. Personally, if and when the jocks get independence, I hope that the North East is ceded to Scotland - that way, we’ll kill two birds with one stone and rid ourselves of two major drains on the UK economy as well as two no-mark football teams.

P.S - Bob Stokoe was a ‘one hit wonder' **** and the Jarrow Marchers were a bunch of work-shy leeches.

We lost, get over it FFS.

There were some Sunderland fans who were over-aggressive after the match, just as there were some City fans who were acting like pissed-up dicks.

I’m completely ‘over it’ - it was a a particularly unfortunate defeat in an otherwise magnificent season/2011 - we’ll lose again before the season is out, but whatever happens, it will be a fun ride by comparison to what we are used to. However, If we get ‘visitors’ who come on here to gloat because thy’ve somehow got 3 points against us, serving to brighten up their otherwise miserable lives, they have to expect us having a go back.

-- Mon Jan 02, 2012 12:37 pm --

I'm from Durham, but have a lot of time for Sunderland the city and its people. Made a lot of friendships over the years following the club.

To be honest, mate, you sound like an utter penis; so let's agree to disagree.

You clearly have an identity problem - as for penises, you need to ask yourself why you are spending your time on a board that has fuck all to do with your club.

Nowhere in his original post did he gloat. I have no problems with other fans coming on Bluemoon but I don't understand why a lot of blues have to resort to insults and abuse with them. If they do it to us fair enough but none of it is really necessary.

No need either to insult the Scots, I have Scottish ancestry.

To be honest the sunderland fan seemed pretty fair in everything he said and its good to have rival fans on the board, it certainly makes the board more enjoyable.

Never understand why abuse gets personal about the area we live in, jobs ets Particulraly as manchester is afr from perfect.

Not gloating at all, mate.

On the balance of play, 1 point would have flattered us let alone 3.

The best we can say is maybe our commitment to the cause possibly could have deserved a point.

Think it was just one of those days for you that every league winning team experiences at some point in the season.

I'd imagine before the start of the season most of you would have taken 45 points from 19 matches at this stage. That's champions form.

Another 40 will be enough; maybe even 38.

Anyway, best of luck for the rest of the season lads.

I think you will get much more than 38 points. Martin O Neill is a class act as a manager and already you could see how well organised the team was yesterday. The chances we created really had to be worked for, defenders were rarely caught out of position and when neccessary put their bodies on the line.

Couldnt help but notice the empty seats, not a criticism because we have all had them and will again. Are the fans still a bit sceptical that MON could prove to be a false dawn are is it just a case of the apathy from the Steve Bruce era and it taking time to get some fans to return.

On the way to the semi final we stopped off at a services to find some Sunderland fans on the way to Birmingham away. They were nothing short of laughable, being vile and nasty to City fans, many young kids were targeted, and the Sunderland fans were horrible. On the way back to the coaches we had things thrown at us and the Sunderland fans were just despicable. Needless to say, we were chuffed to find that they lost 5-0.
