Stop putting ideas in their heads :(Easily top 10 best centre backs in the world for me, if I was liverpool I would move heaven an earth to partner him with Virgil.

I am no medic but it would be some hamstring injury to end a careerSuperb defender but what are the stats behind recovery from a serious hamstring injury like he had?. I think this would be a case of buying just to keep him from going to a rival.
Not talking about career ending, but the injury was so bad he had to have surgery on the muscle. The question was more along the lines of how limiting it would be, if at all?I am no medic but it would be some hamstring injury to end a career

Can't see us being interested now unless Kompany retires but then we'd have 4 1st teamers for 2 spots unless we switched to a back 3.
I'd have him tho.
£25m + £150k wages is an absolute steal. If we did go for him, Vincent would have to depart/retire. But Alderweireld/Otamendi/Laporte/Stones would arguably be 4 of the top 5 or so centre backs in the league.
He's 28/29... with the clause kicking in obviously forces Spurs' hand a bit as well. Probably around £50-60m. Probably to United. How much will he go for? £80m? £100m? He is a big central defender that kicks people and heads the ball. Football is crazy.
Liverpool will buy him and it will make no difference at all to their defence because their system sucks.
