For as long as I've been going to City we've sung songs like this. One or two blasts of the song at full volume and then finish... This doesn't give the rest of the ground chance to join in. Whether they like it or not, the singing sections are the front man and the rest of the ground are the backing singers. When the front man isn't singing, the backing singers wont - and nobody should say things like "well why don't you start a song then?" because one person wont get a full block of shy and retiring people up singing on his own, but if the singing sections got something going over and over for ages the rest of the stadium slowly start to take notice and join in. Prime example; Sporting at home 0-3 down on aggregate and the 109-111 section started "We Never Win At Home..." for a good length of time and it got the whole of East Stand Level 1 going.swedishcityfan said:Sounds good when you sing, but the songs silenced to quick. It sounded like you sung "we're not really here" once and then silent. Why not sing the verse antoher time, it would improve the atmosphere big time.

One thing that was noticeable once more was that it was again the East Stand corner of 109/110 and 111 that gave the game any kind of atmosphere whilst the south stand was silent once again.
Does anyone know why City sold QPR the tickets like they did? Surely it would have been better for QPR to fill the bottom tier which they would have done and had the top tier more or less empty? Not only does it not contribute to the atmosphere but it looks shit on TV which isn't good for the club's profile.

If they succeeded in getting all of 109 to sit down, they'd then focus on 110, 111, and so on (if they aren't already) until they killed the atmosphere completely. Prize knobheads especially as almost no one in 109 seems to sit anyway so it's not like their matchday experience is being ruined.
No it's neither of them unfortunately. It was played the final time the teams were read out "Just before" the Blue Moon chorus rung out.Nixon_The_Bike_Thief said:danburge82 said:I can't work out the song myself. I might ask the club.
I've stopped noticing to be honest, it used to be Nightmare by Brainbug, has it changed ?
Also used to come out to Spread your love by BRMC, but I doubt it's that from the description.
