Todays Pitch Invasion. City v Swansea

I think you understand it perfectly and did poor job of justifying a repeat reaction of our first PL win... but to spell it out you may be happy stuck in the past others get with the times and realise titles are expected now because we are a big club in every sense.

Stuck in the past ? Obviously titles are expected, but that does t mean we can't have pitch invasions. Part of our culture in the present, past and future.

Why treat it like it's something you have to do, as if it's expected or your "boring" if you don't do it? It's not at all "part of our culture" I'm not having that excuse, it's just something that happens spontaneously at a lot of clubs that aren't used to winning things, no point trying to make out like it's a unique City thing. If you want to do it fair enough as I said though it will probably be something which changes naturally, once it starts feeling like it's forced rather than spontaneous people will just stop doing it.

After they had to run down the tunnel followed by security staff immediately after the whistle because of a crowd of unpredictable football fans came running after them.

Let them soak in the moment and live in it there and then, not after they've been ushered away and brought back out after a group of bellends have finally finished chasing a cameraman to get their 5 seconds.

That's a pitch invasion for you. Fans runs on and try and be close to there players and the players run off. There were thousands on the pitch last time and it was amazing. It's all part of the moment and part of our culture.

If we win the league against Utd even I might go in the pitch to celebrate and in 53 and 2 rows from the back south stand 3

It's like saying getting put out of the FA Cup by Wigan is "part of our culture".

As others have said, that's a piss poor blanket phrase to try and justify something. We've one the league 4 times, the pitch invasions happened when it was won on the final day, that's understandable emotion. You have to isolate them and not say "we'll everyone did it last time so it's our culture now"

You'd obviously prefer the players in the tunnel and you on the pitch so fair fucks to you.

FFS!

If you don't want to invade the pitch stay at your seat.

The last two occasions have been brilliant.

Memories and picture's like those don't often come around again. Google them.

Jesus, sometimes I really think our support would rather have the orchestrated shite we suffered at Wembley the other Week, rather than pure emotion, euphoria and jubilation from our fans.

But don't worry, I predict plans have already been put into place by the club to stop the repeat of last 2 PL winning pitch invasions.

The safety of the players and H&S issues are at the forefront of their minds.

Absolutely disgusting. How on earth did you cope with these scenes?

Forgivable haha. Fucking hell you’re a bundle of joy.

Go on try this.

We win the League against the rags. Final whistle lots of herberts run on the pitch one of the rag players, Pogba perhaps responds to some cretin calling him names, reacts and gets clumped, even Peg who makes sure he is not off up the tunnel quick enough. This is just one of many scenarios that could happen and play straight into the hands of those that seek to fuck things up for us.

If what the club the players, Pep and the majority of fans want doesnt sway you maybe the consequences of something along the lines of above will?

The fact that the lads on the pitch who have gone out and won it for us want the fans to stay off would be quite enough to keep me in the stands, why not you?

Part of our culture was kicking fuck out of Leeds up dog shit alley but sadly its not the done thing now, smoking in the stands, being able to call the referee a bent **** without some fucking middle class twat being offended because he has brought his Mrs and little Tarquin to watch the footy. Being able to sing "get your tits out for the lads every time a woman copper walked passed the Kippax and by the way they usually laughed thier tits off when that song started...

All the above confined to the dark ages in these abject days of sanitised football stadiums.

The pitch invasion will I am afraid have to join these things in being nothing more than memories of an all together dark time when we were not so enlightened or to put it bluntly it stands a very good chance of coming back and biting the club in the arse....

And what if it isn't against United?

I'm sure if it is, there will be 100's of Stewards all around the pitch, and Police in-front of the United fans. It's not rocket science.

Flash point. Make prior plans like Wigan. Not!

Look back at the last 2 occasions.

Show me 1 player that didn't love the fans invading the pitch, thanking them, lifting them up, surrounding them, shaking their hands, patting their backs, etc,

Are you a H&S robot, avoid of emotions?

I really don't understand that point - shows the fanbase has progressed '. Can you not be a big club and have pitch invasions ?. Who cares if other big clubs don't have pitch invasions, we aren't like them and it's part of our culture. Should we never have a pitch invasion again ?

This club is as much about the fans as the players and staff. And the players will still be able to celebrate and walk around the pitch just like they have done every other league title win. The previous ones didn't take anything away from the day.
Amen to this.
