Todays Pitch Invasion. City v Swansea

Win the title against United.

Who is going to stop 1000's of City fans from invading the pitch? Title derby win against United!?

Put 2 rows of GMP in-front of United, that's if they are still there?

You lot against it should be more worried about town afterwards.

1000's of City going back into town after winning the title, with City and United already in the bars and pubs in town.

Hi all,

I'm a long time city fan from the states. I really want to be there for the Parade once the league is over in May. Does anyone have an idea of which day (most likely) the parade will happen? Or i guess a relative date range? Or will it even happen if we're still in the champions league come May?

Thanks Mates!
Hi,
Also in U.S. (exiled Manc.) Last two times City won the league it was last day of the season, a Sunday, and the parade through the city centre was the next day. i've heard the trophy will be presented after the last home match of the season, Huddersfield, but there's Southampton away the following weekend so the parade might wait till after that. So I don't know what the answer to your question is, sorry. Wouldn't mind going back over myself to see them win the trophy but can't afford to do another trip for a parade, and besides there's the thought of a (expensive) trip to Kiev for the CL final to consider. And then If City get to the final they might wait till after that and parade two (three!) cups at once.

If we win at Stoke and Everton will the rags sell out their end. I may get slagged for this but if it was the other way round I couldn't go. It would destroy me to see them win the league against us. Got a feeling loads of tickets in their end will be sold on to blues. Not that I would do that , I wouldn't get one in the first place. A pitch invasion may not be the main problem. Just a thought like. Hope the rags remind their supporters that tickets will be traced and season ticket / match bans will be implamented if fans sell on.

Thanks for the reply! That's what I was scared about. With the focus potentially being on the Champions league right after southampton, would I have to wait till that's decided before the parade happened.

Cheers!

They will sell the tickets. They are already moaning that they haven't been given enough.

As far as I can remember none of our title/promotion pitch invasions have involved ugly scenes. On the contrary they have been a wonderful part of the winning experience and I would hope that this would be no difference in that regard.

So, lets celebrate, some (not all!) run on the pitch, give the Rags a bit of stick and go home with happy memories.

That's because they have been the last game of the season and not against the rags. After West Ham last night the FA will take a repeat by any club as a serious incident and the club will get sanctioned. It will also be a stupid way for a City fan to get themselves banned. But if adults cannot celebrate success in the stands and have to do it 20 yards away on the pitch they must consider it a small price to pay for a couple of minutes of childishness.

Town will be fime, the ****s will all go home if they lose, they do every time, derby day, bar deansgate is pretty rag free in town

I think we will win the league at home to the rags, some knob head will run on the pitch and shove one of their players and we will get an 18 point reduction for failing to control the crowd.

Let the players celebrate on the pitch. It belongs to them. The stands belong to us. I have to say, as a st holder, the atmosphere has been fairly poor the last few years, so I'm not sure invading the pitch, when we've all known we were gonna win the league for ages, can be put down to passion and spontaneous joy. Seems a bit selfish to force the players off just so a few attention seekers can goad the rags and get on the telly. Just my opinion, expect to get called every name under the sun for daring to have a go at any city fan.
