These are rational comments but unfortunately, as we all know we are not all rational and we cannot cherrypick the laws and rules that only apply to City fans as we are “special”. The yob element who will want to get on at all costs because the laws don’t apply to them will end up costing us big if it happens again this season.

Personally I wouldn’t run on the pitch. Knowing my luck, I would be the one that got picked out on CCTV and made an example of, or accidentally took a chunk out of the pitch that resulted in De Bruyne doing his ACL. Whilst it’s not for me, I don’t think you can moan about the corporate side of football and be against pitch invasions when you have just won the league.

I suspect for the Huddersfield and Brighton games there may be two lines of stewards to try and prevent any invasion and maybe police as well. No dount there will also be numerous announcements from the club about how important it is not to come on the pitch. Surprised that the marketing department haven't tried to sell tickets for the pitch invasion and offer triple ticket points

exactly.....been done many times to stop invasions in the past

Notably our last ever home game at Maine Road. No pitch invasion. Just took ground apart.
