yh but didn't they put the sprinklers on and refuse to work on the pitch despite the fact it was pissing it down just so they could get it called off?

We would have won about 12-0 if the heavens hadn't opened.

Sprinklers weren't put on. The groundsmen just didn't bother trying to shift any of the water.

Beyond me why we would ever want that thug back at the club. We have produced some terrific talent and good human beings--he unfortunately only had one of those traits... In spurts, at that.
