not saying he's back yet. but that last torres goal was so typical of him in his liverpool days. i'm actually really glad for the lad

He is. Met him once after Atletico played Zaragoza (we lost 4-2). Very nice lad in the short conversation I and others had with him. His Spanish is quite good, as well, which is not something hear regularly from academy graduates these days.

Of course, as am I (half-English, half-Spanish, spent time in both because of family) but young players spanish is usually awful because they aren't receiving very high level instruction.

Same thing can be heard for English by listening to Beckham, Rooney, Cole, Wilshere, Lescott (unfortunately), etc. They all sound daft when they talk about anything but football. It is unfortunate but a product of the system.
