Today's reason for Talksport to slag us off

I respect Tevez for the way he celebrated. I heard Parry's rant on TalkShite this morning and from what I heard, Townsend agreed with him. They were trying to say that City fans should be outraged at the lack of a celebration..... I don't know any City fans who were outraged. Tevez has respect for Hammers fans and there is nothing wrong with that. I think his respect for Rags isn't what it once was though!

I have resepcted West Ham fans ever since the match when we were relegated from the old Division One a few years back. There was a pitch invasion at the end of the game and the Police were shitting themselves thinking it was going to kick off with the West Ham fans approaching us behind the goal. As it turned out, we had a right good old sing song with them and this carried on as we were escorted away from the ground, not a hint of any trouble...... anyone else remember this???

Yes, I was there. 1987 I believe.

The media are trying to put idea's in our head about how we should react but I think the vast majority of City fans are intelligent enough to know that the Adebayor and Tevez celebrations are completely different. They are making something out of nothing.

Adebayor was constantly abused by Arsenal fans and was slagged off in the Press by his former team-mates.Ade has lost all his respect for Arsenal FC.His goal celebration was a natural release and I can honestly say I would have done the same!

Tevez scored against a side who's fans he had a great mutual respect for so it was natural for him to be 'apologetic'.He put the ball in the back of the net twice FFS so it shows he also has a great love for City to.I bet if he scores against Villa at the North Stand End he will run over to us in the Doug Ellis Stand and celebrate with us!

Thet can pick all they want as long as we are winning so the more they have a go more we will win & fuck them lol...

Firstly that tube the moose says Tevez "showed Adebayor how to celebrate a goal". So they have a swipe at Ade when he wasn't even playing.

THEN, and get this, Parry says he would be perturbed if he were a City fan, because Tevez was so respectful to Hammers fans that it looks like he has no passion for City, i.e. he didn't celebrate enough!

Proof if it were needed that we simply can't win!

I was about to post a reply reeling off other examples of utter bollox spouted by Parry, but you're only allowed 60,000 words on this forum so it wouldn't have been long enough

Wait till that wanker Durham is on later he will be probably trying to get Tevez a three game ban for not celebrating.
i disagree completely! i think he is world class at what he does! torres scored a hat-trick at the weekend and Durham was on asking 'is torres really that good?' and kept backing himself up saying 'he only scores goals'. he provokes reactions even if hes saying something he doesnt really think and hes good at it!
