I have a dog and a burglar alarm and I’m gone from home for large swaths of time.

I’m not the only one who knows how to use the weapons.

I’m sorry it offends your sensibilities, but I’ll do me, you do you, and I’ll make sure you never have to worry….unless you break in!!
 
I personally wouldn't want to live in a place where I felt the need to arm myself even if I felt I had to carry a piece of wood to the shops just incase, I'd fucking move as far away as possible

Might sound weird but I never ever consider that there are people out there who are armed. Even if I go to Denver or another big City it never crosses my mind. I’ve never felt the need to be armed and don’t have one by my bed. In over thirty years I’ve witnessed one bar fight (between two brothers) not seen any agro of any sort. Never had anyone call my pint a poof or whatcho lookin at nonsense. England is way rougher than here imo
